    I had a feeling after the reported Diamondbacks offer and the Cafardo blurb that bidding "could reach 120 million" that the final numbers may be a bit lower than everyone's expecting. But it only takes one. And hopefully it's the Cubs. Only if that's really what is needed

    The NFL is full of them. And he's also really good. I hate Pete Carroll, but I wanted Seattle to win. I like it when the usual suspects aren't in the SB. Okay, Sherman really is a piece of work.     I'm not even sure the whole "west coast preference" thing is real. Sounds more like speculation to me. Even if his wife did say it - doesn't mean it's really a factor.

    The last time Syracuse football was noteworthy (read: ranked), Paul Pasqualoni was their head coach. And it was a long, long time ago. I guess that's the biggest feather in his cap. Maybe the Bears are hoping he can tap into that a little bit.
