I think that might look as creepy as it does with the mouth eyes. Does something to my psyche every time I see it. Can't seem to take my eyes off it. Hypnotic in a bad way.

The play where he rolled right and threw back left to the endzone...and it was nearly picked off. Collinsworth gushed about his arm strength...I know that NOLA doesn't like to hear it, but man...if that'd been Cutler... I just think you guys are so hypersensitive about him, much the way I would be about a Saint probably. Any QB who isn't named Peyton, Rodgers, Brady or Brees would have been called out for a dumb decision on that play. In fact, I hear national announcers calling out Drew for some boneheaded things he's done in the past during broadcasts. It's just gotten to the point where when any QB in the league uses questionable judgement, some guys go there immediately. Hell, Cutler is a pretty good QB but Romo and Eli with his 2 rings get at least as much grief as Jay. If anyone gets off too easy by the media, it's not Rodgers but Matty Ice in Atlanta. As a Bears fan, I must say this post is 100% true. Brees had a pretty [expletive] year a few years ago (led league in INTs) and made repeated bad decisions. Oh god, if Cutler made that throw, or the other one that looked like a throwaway it was so bad... ...well, you know what would have happened. Good RexJay/Bad Rex/Jay Or something similarly stupid.

They target certain players and deliver a preconceived message every week. Only an egregious series of mistakes will take them off it. With Collinsworth I've always expected more because I think he does have the ability to, but over the years he just hasn't delivered. As it is, I find his commentary to be so ridiculous at times as to be nauseating.

I felt like they were desperately trying to pump up Peppers in the commentary, but he just wasn't showing up other than a few plays. The PFF grades seem to support that. I though Ha Ha was fairly good -- you have to consider it was his first time out. It was Rodgers who really surprised me - poor decision making. There were two times when he clearly had first downs with his feet, but elected to throw instead costing drives. Lacey also looked poor, although that was likely because the Packers' line wasn't getting it done very often. Starks had a much better average though, admittedly on far fewer attempts but he looked much better to me. Seattle won't lose at home very often, as usual. The Packers probably won't face that kind of defense for the rest of the year, so it's difficult to draw any conclusions.

Everybody would like to have the #1 offense, #1 defense, and #1 ST...but that's not real realistic. Every team is going to have weaknesses, and while we're working on improving the defense, I'd much rather my team weakness be on that side of the ball. Wait a minute. Did you even read my post? I never said anything even close to this.

So is Rodgers. On that drive he's jaw boning with the refs on a holding call he never saw because he was running the other way. He's nearly on Rivers' level and never ever gets called on it.

I don't see that last sentence as necessarily a bad thing. What does Sean Payton know about defense? But he has a ring and a perennial contender. Yep. Pat Mannelly didn't view it as a bad thing either. Basically said that Lovie's problem was that he couldn't seem to get good offensive coaches in there. I guess if you really don't like Tucker, you could draw a parallel there, but honestly...I'd rather be strong offense and weak defense than vice versa in this league right now. It's not either/or. All I ever wanted was good offense. I can see taking a hit on D to get it, but total unmitigated collapse is a different story. We're talking in circles with this thing though. I'm going to kick a dog if Tucker doesn't do something this year.

I'll take a defeat of any kind. I can't even fathom the inevitable hysteria (from both media and fanbase) if they leave Seattle with a win. I have to live with it for a week up here. When they lose there is precious silence. Unlike Chicago the cheesheads react to failure by shutting up.

Hmmm...so just enter a false address that maps to an apartment building? I live in an apartment and signed up for this a few weeks ago, I don't remember anything that would stop you from being able to do that. I suppose it's possible they can pull public records on the back end and see if it matches up but I would doubt it. I doubt that would be feasible. But checking the address entered against the credit card might be. DirecTV is expensive. If an internet option opens up for NFLST I'm dumping it. I've already gone internet-only with MLBEI

I think Forte is the big name I'd miss the least on offense if he were hurt. Maybe Bennett. But, no, I think Forte. Having another RB taking those carries and being a little more limited in that you lose his pass catching ability is far from a disaster. Do the Bears have another RB who can catch passes out of the backfield? I admit I haven't been paying much attention to that. The threat of Forte catching a screen or something underneath is important.

You posted at 6:30 in the morning. Not the busiest time. For my part, I've been here to get updates because I'm much more interested. Been watching more games too. Give me some time, I'm not ready to hang around the game threads yet. I know everyone can't wait for that.

I understand the Tucker hire. Made complete sense to me at the time. Retaining Tucker, on the other hand? Dumb as hell. And we are going to pay for it.
