  1. Hah. You're either pro tank or anti tank, man.
  2. I certainly hope the national title game has something to offer in the way of competitive football.
  3. Bears: 1-6 @ home (1-9 in their last 10) Lions: 5-2 in the 2nd half. Bears won't win Sunday so we will be "taking care of business" so to speak. I don't know what the [expletive] it is about Soldier Field, but we can't play there.
  4. It's a case of heart versus head this weekend. Even though I can't deny the potential benefits of a loss, I'm still going to root for the Bears to win.
  5. The AFC, meanwhile, will pit Brandon Weeden, Alex Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brock Osweiler and AJ McCarron against the Patriots for a Super Bowl bid. My team will almost certainly have to beat 2 of Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers and Carson Palmer to get there. This strikes me as lame. Rodgers and the Packers are barely a threat to mediocre teams at this point. It's an easy win for the Panthers unless they decide to suck. Beat the Bucs at home next week, and you've got to like the chances much better of playing a home game in the NFC championship, even if it's Arizona. You're right it's not a fair balance between the NFC and AFC, but there is a winnable path to the Super Bowl for the Panthers. I'm not feeling a whole lot of sympathy for you :-)
  6. It doesn't make any sense at all for Rodgers to still be in there down 30 points. Watching the game, Rodgers is being tattooed on just about every other play. McCarthy always gets away with this kind of stuff. Not that I'm hoping for a Rodgers injury, but one of these days he's got to lose one of these gambles.
  7. Oh glorious
  8. You did indeed. They've been impressive.
  9. I wonder what it would've taken for Beckham to get ejected today. Decapitation?
  10. So the upside of playing Fales is to guarantee losses, I guess.
  11. Listening to the GB/OAK game you'd never guess GB is up 7 and ready to ice the game.
  12. Another Bears game mercifully ends. Looking forward to the season ending as well.
  13. 34 isn't necessarily old for a kicker. Yep. He's not point shaving. He's not old. He just sucks now.
  14. Oh Michael Michael
  15. Also, come out of the locker room ready to play and we don't have to wring our hands over what happened the last few plays. They weren't even competing until late in the 2nd Q
  16. I liked it, Gould blew it last week so there was reason to think he would miss again in bad weather here. They tried for the TD.
  17. See ya Robbie
  18. Just unreal
  19. Fox needs to play this to win
  20. With all this, there's a chance to drive and get a damn win at home
  21. You have got to be [expletive] kidding
  22. I'd forgive a big play if someone would take a chance and jump a few routes
  23. Need a stuff here, sick of seeing Redskin receivers running wide open all the [expletive] time
  24. [expletive] no chance to even see it
  25. There's good pressure and if they would just stop screwing themselves they'd probably be 7 down, but no
