There's a chance, with Holly's injury history, the Dubois thing will take care of itself. Especially if Dusty plays Holly alot. Neifi/Hairston though. That could fester all year--regardless of what Dusty says.

I know all the Cubs said it looked like a clean slide, but looking at the replay it sorta looks like Carlos went for Walker's knee. Anyway, at least the Cubs aren't giving us any of this "oh he'll be fine" B.S. If the guy's out, then just tell us he's out. Looks like Hairston gets his shot much earlier than anyone expected.

Last year I stuck up for Dusty because it was his 2nd season and I always give a manager a couple years' grace period. This year he gets no slack from me whatsoever. It's win, or leave town. If he's going to pinch hit the troll with quality hitters on the bench and the game on the line, maybe it's time to send him back to San Francisco.

Yeah, last season they were also confident that Wood and Prior wouldn't miss much time. I'll believe it when I see it. Exactly. When the Umpire says "Play Ball!" and Kerry *actually* throws a pitch in game, then he's back. Until then, he's out indefinitely. I don't even want to hear a time-line from the Cubs. Same for Prior.

My family and I stopped going to Wrigley a few years ago. Now we catch 'em at Wrigley North, a.k.a Miller Park. Just got seats today. Sept. 21st & 22nd, great seats--infield diamond box, face value. Can't beat it. Maybe I'll go through the fight to get tix at Wrigley one of these years. I've been to dozens of games in Chicago in my years, but now it's just so much easier and closer to go to Milwaukee. Go Cubbies! -
Unbelievable. Now we have to go on the road almost all February against tough teams. This wasn't my idea of how to kick off that road stretch. Blah.
