  1. At this point the best scenario is to keep Fields on the sideline, fire Nagy, then have Fields come back fresh with a new staff. I don’t want Nagy ruining the best Bear QB prospect in a generation.
  2. Sorry Nagy but your D can’t bail you out for 60 minutes straight.
  3. It really is a joke. The man cannot call an offense. What is his problem? Want to win or not?
  4. Embarrassing.
  5. Browns have a very good set of players on O and pretty good play calling to go with it.
  6. He's amazingly predictable. Scripted plays are over. He can’t call an offense in-game.
  7. If we win it will be on D for sure.
  8. LOL if Mack shows up like that all game it definitely changes the odds. Keep going for it though. I’ll take the ball back with no points.
  9. I can only assume Fields has no option on play calls today? That was the wrong play for that defense
  10. Wisconsin is no good at all and when they went ahead 13-10 and ND had its 3rd-string QB in the game due to injuries. I had a brief moment of annoyance at the idea that Wisconsin was going to get a poll boost from beating a not-very-good ND team and then Michigan would in turn get a poll boost from beating them like a drum next week (which they will). Then Chris Tyree went 98 yards for a TD and at least I don't have to worry about that anymore. I was at the game. I heard Chryst is desperate not to have to go to Wolf at QB. I don’t care. Mertz MUST not play.
  11. I don't know but it seemed consistent with what I've seen from Nagy before, with a script of plays that seems to work well initially but then subsequent drives are sluggish. If true, all we need to do is stop the game after the first drive, do another week of prep, then continue.
  12. The Bengals have a young QB with a battered line. The defense played great, but let's see Mack have a great game and help hold down a good offense. Next week we'll know more. Mack is making me sad.
  13. It sure was cool to see the Bears take the ball with 3 minutes left and snuff out the Bengals’ hopes. I feel like that’s a rarity with this team. Think you’re gonna come back? Nope.
  14. I guess he was a mirage. Really needed him to work out.
  15. Ugh. Would’ve liked to have them take a little more time than that.
  16. I didn’t see a push there. Didn’t have a great angle on the replay though.
  17. That hurt. I’ve got a feeling open receivers will be a regular source of frustration all year.
  18. The fabled Nagy script.
  19. Yup, Im thinking week 4 at home vs Detroit, a perfect situation. How are the Bears fans at Soldier Field going to react this Sunday if the Bears sputter into halftime with like 6 points or if something happens like a Dalton pick 6? Boos. Hisses. The usual restless fandom stuff.
  20. Good game. OT on Monday night? Awesome.
  21. Yeah, saw that one yesterday. Somehow had more impact for me because he did it well after he left.
  22. He not really executing a plan. At this point he's just painting by numbers. You play the vet, because.....you play the vet.
  23. Secondary is a steaming pile of horse horsefeathers.
  24. This is like watching the Badgers against Penn State last week.
  25. Monty is a good back. I doubted him too. But he’s solid.
