  1. Santos is solid as hell
  2. Hated that 3rd down play call. I get that they’ve had success with the run today but it hasn’t been with that type of straight ahead formation.
  3. It’s sooo cool to see the Bears depth chart making a difference.
  4. He’s jogging on the sidelines so that’s promising
  5. I guess I’ll hang in but defense looks like Swiss cheese. Not going to matter who plays QB if this keeps up.
  6. Nobody’s told Dalton about Fields.
  7. GB/CIN is something else.
  8. I haven’t been able to watch any of the pregame shows in years. I wish there was any network show out there that wasn’t some forced chuckle-fest but was more stats and analysis driven. MLB network does a decent job, sometimes. You would think that’s the niche NFL Network would fill. I haven’t watched their pregame in years. It was just more of the same as Fox/CBS iirc.
  9. Darn Squid Game. Missed it.
  10. I can’t imagine watching 60 minutes of the Fox Pregame. I assume it is basically background in bars and homes. Essentially NFL muzak. Holy horsefeathers Bradshaw needs to retire. Guy doesn’t even know which finger Russell Wilson injured.
  11. I'm sure it's because of the video, but I watched the game Thursday. JAX played better on the road against CIN. But more than once I looked at Meyer on the sidelines and thought to myself that he looked really stressed. I chalked it up to me probably misinterpreting things. But it might be that there's two things happening. The vid, and then just the fact that he's not enjoying himself in the NFL. Maybe he's thinking he made a mistake here. I don't know. Obviously JAX isn't going to suddenly become a playoff team if they fire him mid-season. But if your head coach is hating life it's not good for anyone in the organization. I have high hopes that PIT sucks because I would love seeing that. I would take every opportunity to see them suck on TV and enjoy myself thoroughly. I would crack open a few extra beers, and maybe even call my brother-in-law to experience his weeping and gnashing of teeth as I bask in my shameless hatred of all things Steelers.
  12. Yeah maybe we can get this Raiders team next week.
  13. I assume the Bears will need a few things to break their way, like a couple big turnovers, to win this one. Hey, it could happen.
  14. They'll be fine if they win out. It was very early in the season and Oregon will finish with a decent resume. Ohio State has recovered from early non-conference losses to make the playoffs before and they still have games left against Penn State, Michigan State and Michigan to fatten up their resume. I guess the key is 'if they win out'. They've looked a lot better of late and maybe are putting it together but they looked really shaky the first few weeks of the season so we'll see. It would help if Big Blue would start doing its job in their biggest annual game, but...
  15. Yup. Fields obviously has the basics down just fine. He needs to improve his play speed recognition and its just such a hard argument to say he'll get there with practice snaps and on the bench. Luckily I don't think they have another Browns like D/front to play, so every game should provide ample learning experience for him and it is just wasting development to put Dalton out there. As long as Nagy doesn't yank playcalling away from Lazor again, I agree.
  16. Wasn’t he hurt and/or fighting injuries during some of that though?
  17. ...you tryin' to say Rodgers is still good? Eh, he’s alright I guess.
  18. I don’t know why the Packers took a QB, certainly don’t see why they seem to be wanting to move to him as a starter. Rodgers could play another 5 years at an elite level. Watching him, he’s not really close to diminishing skills that take him out of elite status.
  19. Can we please lay Nagy’s fantasy about being an NFL play caller to rest now, Jeebus.
  20. Hoping against hope Montgomery is not lost.
  21. This is going south fast
  22. They’ve gotten to Goff occasionally but overall he’s had too clean of a pocket to work the field from.
  23. LOL! Of course just as I said it! Awesome
  24. Rush isn’t there. Too much time for Goff to sit back there.
  25. Seems to me this is the right way to go at this point for Fields. Sure I’d love to see more passes I’m just not sure it would work out well.
