  1. OK, so here we go. 18 point Bulls lead. You know the Pistons will now make their run. Bulls need to figure out how to stop it this time.
  2. Based on what just happened with the Spurs/Suns series, I'll take a swing at it and say "arbitrary". Yeah, WTF when did Rasheed freaking Wallace get his own set of rules? This is complete crap.
  3. Booooooo Lou for risking injury on Z in a 10 run game. That's just idiotic.
  4. LMAO. No sooner do the Phils royally screw up, the Crew hits a homer to tie it up. DAMN IT!! Want to gain a game tonight.
  5. You think the Cubs 3rd base coach is terrible? Watch the Phils. That is all.
  6. Trouble is it feels like no lead is safe. 8 would normally feel pretty good, but now it's really nothing.
  7. And here come the Pistons. You didn't think it would last, did you? Who did Billups play for before DET? Whoever that team is -- they're freaking idiots. How could you not recognize this guy's talent? He's awesome.
  8. After the Rammy Slammy, I've got just one thing to say: If they blow *THIS* lead, it's going to be furniture throwin' time.
  9. Inept yes, but it's kinda cute, they keep trying. Gotta have owners who have given up trying to make the shortlist, I think. Blackhawks are the worst IMO, and it's not particularly close. I think they miss many people's listing because they are so atrocious people prefer to forget that they even exist.
  10. Yeah, I think Hester is moving to offense in the sense that they will now be using him as a gadget option or to gain a mismatch somewhere. Despite his lack of size, Wolfe is a trained RB so I would expect him to have more of a consistent role, provided the Bears don't discover his size to be too limiting.
  11. DeRosa better turn it around because he's trending into horrid territory and we could really use the help.
  12. I don't know about Wuertz. Haven't we seen this act from him before? I seem to remember him starting out good one other year and then tanking. I'm not sure I would give him all that much more time. He seems to be unable to maintain any consistency over the long haul.
  13. Players always grumble about being "pushed" by up and coming guys. Through my observations, I've learned it often results in better play despite the grumbling. The Bears aren't in the business of making warm and fuzzies for every player. It's pretty obvious we could improve our DE play a little, and we now have a couple young bucks to come in and at least push those vets to greater heights. I see that as a positive.
  14. If STL plays any natural rival, KC is the obvious natural rival. You think? Maybe I'm just way off base on this, but I've never heard nor seen any of the people who are KC fans give one crap about that "rivalry." Cards fans certainly don't get their blood boiling one bit over it. It's a nice little AAA diversion every year for them, but I can't see any Cards fans going "those damn Royals!" I don't think it exists. It's made up by league. The cities are on opposite ends of the state, and are extremely different.
  15. Stone was just on the SCORE claiming that Hendry had asked Dusty to go easy on Howry & Eyre at the end of last season to preserve them for next year. Dusty proceeded to rack up high usage for both of them. Those two are probably not going to get any better, and that's the core of our bullpen. If the BP is going to suck all year, we're going to be mighty frustrated Cub fans this year...
  16. LOL, yeah well it's not like the Cubs have been working to limit the available space.
  17. On the field, where it counts, this team is just plain awful. It's mid-May now. Nothing's changed. I'm not seeing it. What on this team would indicate it's not going to be another craptastic season?
  18. You don't recall our bullpen with Alfonsucka or Hawkins then? Well, in a couple years you'll probably be saying, "don't you remember those bozos Howry, Eyre, and Ohman?" It's really that bad. This is definitely in Alfonsucka territory, don't you think? How many leads do they have to blow?
  19. A bullpen with LaTroy Hawkins as closer<<<<< Any other bullpen Alright, the 2nd worst 8-)
  20. I see no way this club does anything of note in '07. This is the worst bullpen I think I've ever seen.
  21. That's 2 ball 4's Delgado has swung at. It's only a matter of time.
  22. Here we go. Walk in the winning run. Just do it. You know you want to.
