"2. 4th and long 45 yard TD pass from Rodgers to Cobb to win division over Bears" Of all the terrible losses on that list, this one brings back a horrible memory among the horrible. I was sitting in a Vegas casino, money riding on the game and thinking just one more play and glory! Ouch. And of course people all around exploded in cheers.

I wasn't going to watch any of these videos this week but I guess I am now. I would say it was his complaint coming out of college and its still a problem in his 2nd season so it should be pretty concerning at this point. Are there any examples of players who overcame a clear inability to process/throw the ball on time? Josh Allen maybe, recently. He's an outlier but there's the best example I can come up with. Didn't Roethlisberger hold on to the ball a long time, but just scrambled his way to TD passes? Fields has the ability to get out of trouble but I think he's going to need help from a competent WR/TE/RB group to get open consistently in the scramble drill. Definitely not this group.

Partially because we know more about where the Bears stand, as well as where other teams stand, the "easy" schedule has seemingly evaporated. If Poles' strategy this year was tank-city, it might very well kick into full speed in the next few weeks. Anyway, Bears lose this week, maybe they keep it close but it's not happening. I'll go NE 24 CHI 13.

When I look at the Giants success coming from a similarly desolate situation, it’s really hard to just give Poles a pass for his offseason and to look kindly on the Eberflus hiring. As a fan I’m looking for a leadership change that pays dividends quickly, not a project that has to be given time to blossom. Other teams do it. It’s a reasonable expectation here too.

It's stunning how this team falls flat on their face inside the 20. Little stupid mistakes by players and/or Getsy. To me, Getsy isn't "fine", he's just as much a rookie and looks overmatched because of it People were bitching that the Bears ran too much in the redzone. Well, they got what they wanted and Getsy called pass plays it 8 of the last 10 redzone plays. Granted, the ones at the end had time constraints, but again I say....if Fields is working with a bad supporting cast, how can you fault Getsy who's working the same bad cast, plus what may be a bad QB? I see your point but don’t you think saying the Bears have a good run game is too broad a statement? They break out some fantastic long runs and I love that, but I also feel like the dives up the middle often fail.
