Me too, but in the long run, this might be a good learning experience for him. I agree. He could singlehandedly beat people at Texas, and had an offense built around him when he became really successful. Now needs a chance to learn how to succeed in the NFL. He was basically one of those kids who never had to pick up a book and had a 4.0 GPA on the football field. Doesn't work that way anymore. Yeah, I think things didn't work out quickly - like they had at every other level - and he couldn't handle that. That's why it's good to have not only a decently talented backup QB (Kerry Collins) but someone who has come back from problems early in his career and can help Vince overcome his. I realize Kerry's alcohol problem was far worse than Vince's hurt ego, but both are career threatening in their own way.
