  1. And add Marvin Harrison too. lol That would be far and away the greatest team in the history of the game.
  2. Actually, the Patriots will probably sign him, rehabilitate him and pair him with Randy Moss for the greatest duo of WRs ever.
  3. If Al Davis were a little more young and spry, he might have already announced the signing. The only question is, five years/$100 million or six years/$100 million?
  4. Nothing online that I've seen, but Sportscenter just reported that the Cowboys cut TO. It's on ESPN's front page now.
  5. I keep watching guys I targeted fall off the board. I love Heyward-Bey's potential and would like to see him fall to the Titans. Good analysis, by the way. I have PM'd WrigleyField 22.
  6. 17-20 or something like that in his career and a bunch of bad INT's at the end of last year. He is getting better, but he isn't great yet. 62.5 completion % with 54 TDs to 37 INTs. A large part of that poor record is being the QB of a team with a terrible defense and eighth or ninth string running backs starting much of the year. He's really good and borderline great right now, in my opinion.
  7. Leinart's best opportunity, I think, would be to try to impress in training camp and maybe quietly mention to Cardinal brass that he'd prefer a trade. Going public with trade demands would be a bad idea, though, I think.
  8. How long until Leinart comes out and says he wants to be traded? He'd probably do well to keep his mouth shut. Leinart hasn't been particularly impressive in his limited amount of chances and coming out now demanding a trade would likely get him stuck on somebody's bench. He's stuck on somebody's bench now. The difference is he doesn't have a chance of getting off that bench in Arizona. If Matt Leinart isn't just happy with his paycheck, he should do whatever he can to get traded to Chicago, Tampa, New York, and a couple other places (maybe not Detroit). He's still very young and has a lot of potential. I'd imagine if Tampa can't make a trade for Cutler, they'd give up a pick for Leinart. As a Bears fan, if I could get him for a 3rd rounder, I would in a heartbeat. Would the other teams do it though? Right now he's an apparent busted pick who can't get off the bench against a (granted, very talented) 40-year-old QB. If he starts pitching a fit because he's not earning a chance, would other teams jump at acquiring a malcontent apparent busted pick who can't get off the bench against a (granted, very talented) 40-year-old QB? I really doubt they'd give an early pick. I realize he's stuck on the bench now, but I think the chances are high that he would piss off more teams than he would entice by whining now. Warner's earned his starting jobs, but Leinart hasn't played particularly well.
  9. This is around the area where I start liking Sintim. I've PM'd Warpticon.
  10. How long until Leinart comes out and says he wants to be traded? He'd probably do well to keep his mouth shut. Leinart hasn't been particularly impressive in his limited amount of chances and coming out now demanding a trade would likely get him stuck on somebody's bench.
  11. Kurt Warner has also agreed to a contract with the Cardinals.
  12. Lavernaeues Coles has reportedly signed with the Bengals. Interesting move.
  13. Bumping this once again to get it to the front page.
  14. Bad for us. Looks like another 1st round exit. :bye: Come on. You're right, it'll be another first round exit because we're the Cubs, not because of Manny.
  15. Yes I am. I coach basketball and we had a playoff game tonight so sorry for they delay everyone. With the 23rd pick in the NFL Draft the New England Patriots select Darius Butler, CB UConn I could see NE taking a LB here as well. But I think the need for a CB is more great. Not a problem, even though you took one of the corners I like.
  16. Bumping this to make sure it doesn't fall off the first page. ElCaballo's slacking.
  17. Dang, I was hoping he'd fall to the Titans at 30. He and Haye would have been nice replacements for Albert. I was probably going to take him with the Falcons pick. Yeah, figured it was a longshot. I'd love it if it happened, though.
  18. I saw you taking a cornerback and got afraid that you were taking one of the two I've targeted for the Titans. Luckily, you stayed away from them. :D
  19. I'll PM Truffle for the Eagles pick.
  20. Dang, I was hoping he'd fall to the Titans at 30. He and Haye would have been nice replacements for Albert.
  21. The Titans signed WR Nate Washington and DT Jovan Haye today. Washington got 6 years and $27 million ($9 guaranteed) and Haye got 4 years and $16.2 million. As I said earlier, I like picking up Washington since we weren't going to go after Housh. As for Haye, he's just 26 and fairly big (6-2, 285), but he's recorded just six sacks in his career and none last year. I hope we still address WR and DT in the draft, but neither is quite as pressing now.
  22. Do the chefs have a coaching staff yet? No idea who the Chefs are, but the Chiefs have yet to officially terminate Herm Edwards. That said, the rumors are flying that he'll go either this year or next. The Chiefs fired Herm Edwards in January: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/2009/01/23/2009-01-23_chiefs_fire_herm_edwards.html They hired Todd Haley to take the job in early February: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/football/nfl/02/06/haley.ap/ You are responding to posts written in January. That I am..thanks for the correction :D Man, you'll do anything to get a chance to correct me, eh?
  23. I know, I know. I thought Britton, Beaty or Unger would be too big a reach there, though. If we could, I'd have traded down to the end of the 1st and drafted an OL. Sadly, I can't see Angelo taking an OL in the first round in consecutive years. This is a spot where, if Maclin is still available, I'd be interested in the Titans trading up. It'd give the Bears the 30th pick (plus some, obviously) so they could grab their o-lineman and it would give the Titans a better, healthier version of Percy Harvin. Reinfeldt doesn't seem to like WRs enough to do this, however.
  24. Yeah, I'll be pretty surprised if Maclin falls here and the Bears don't take him.
  25. Not a big deal. The Redskins don't have a second round pick anyway, so you're off the hook for a while. :D Ha sounds good and good pick by the way. I would have gone with a tackle as well Yeah, like I said, it was a OT or a LB that they'd need and the LBs weren't overly impressive for a top 15 pick. And I really, really like Oher's potential. I think he's a good deal at that spot. Yeah outside of Curry there aren't a lot of impressive LB and he's an OLB I like Brian Cushing, but that's pretty much it. The next guys I see as late 1st, early 2nd round guys.
