To get to switch 2nd rd picks and get a 3rd pick for a guy on potential, is awfully high risk for the Seahawks. I get the intangibles, but the man is 27 going on 28 already (in August) so the Hawks acquired a guy who should be going into his peak as a QB, but instead will prolly be making his starting debut in 2011 at what 29 years old. I hope it's worth it. There's a good chance he'll be the starter in 2010. That said, I agree it'd be very ideal if he were a couple years younger (and he's older than I originally thought). Keep in mind, though, that hitting 30 isn't the same for a quarterback as it is for most players. Plenty of QBs are highly successful - and even have some of their best years - well into their 30s.
