  1. I prefer to continue. I'm fine either way. We'll probably only have the interest for about another round or so if we do continue.
  2. Ok, need some input here. Do we go on for a fourth round, start a second version of the mock draft after the third round or what? What's the popular opinion?
  3. The Browns could use more secondary help, but the best values have been picked away at this point. So, the Browns choose to bring in some depth on the offensive line as they have quite a bit of age at right tackle in John St. Clair and George Foster. So, the Browns select Kyle Calloway, OT, Iowa. hawkeyecub and the Vikings are now on the clock. I PMd him.
  4. I fell for it at first. My friend sent it to me and in the middle of trying to get my 7th graders to finish a project, I didn't pay that much attention to it. Then I realized it was a gag. It's a pretty good one. I think it looks pretty cool. I'd actually like to see them do that.
  5. weis21 and the Chargers are on the clock. I PMd him.
  6. vance and shnsajax are on the clock for the Cowboys' pick. I PMd them.
  7. CubbieBum and the Cardinals are on the clock for back to back picks. I PMd him.
  8. TruffleShuffle and the Eagles are now on the clock. I PMd him.
  9. The Browns strongly need help at safety and Larry Asante is still sitting on the board. I've seen him listed as a SS and the Browns more strongly need a FS, but Asante is too good a value here to pass up. Perhaps he can shift to FS or maybe one of the guys currently at FS could shift over to SS. Either way, the pick here is Larry Asante, S, Nebraska. Flames and the Packers are now on the clock. I PMd him.
  10. Why not? Because he's a bad, bad man. He's one of our few pixie dust reclamations though. That's gotta count for something.
  11. Matt Karchner or Felix Heredia? Which statue do we build first? :D
  12. UK and the Browns are on the clock. I PMd him.
  13. rocket and the Bengals are now on the clock. I PMd him.
  14. Vanilla Ice and the Falcons are on the clock. I PMd him.
  15. Haha, you found a player who hasn't been taken!
  16. Bowman went in the second round to the Giants too.
  17. Sapp and Lee went in the second round. Sapp to the Pats and Lee to the Saints. Great pick on Hardesty, by the way.
  18. Our first tiny college prospect off the board. Mark Prior's Calves and the Broncos are now on the clock. I PMd him.
  19. If this was posted already, I'm sorry. But the Bears re-signed three players.
  20. Quality point.
  21. I love that last name. jame.gumb and CubbieBum are now on the clock for the 49ers' pick. I PMd them.
  22. Saw that coming. Thanks for stealing my pick, jerk. :D Much like John Jerry, I couldn't believe he lasted this long. We just couldn't pass him up. :D
  23. So Brown is as good as gone. Again though: I can't see a reason a team would trade something away for Brown when they know he'll be available soon for just the cash. Maybe if there were several suitors competing, none of whom wanted to get beat to the punch. But in this case, I don't see that. Brown isn't going to be a life-or-death acquisition for anyone. They'd trade something for the exclusive rights to the player. If he's cut, a bidding war could ensue. I could see a team being willing to trade less since they know he'll be cut (maybe a 4th-5th instead of a 3rd-4th), but not having to compete with other teams for his services can be worth a 5th rounder or so.
  24. Really, because you just said you could see him pushing them close to .500. That's not pretty good. McNabb has spent his entire career in contention with the Eagles. I cannot see him happily going to the Raiders to potentially turn them into a .500 team. I worded that poorly. That was a low end estimation for them. I'm think 7-8 wins as a minimum with 9-10 a possibility (depending on how some other AFC teams improve). Basically a borderline playoff team with McNabb.
