  1. Jeff Stevens should get a more prominent role now.
  2. Colts cut Sorgi. Falcons sign Dunta Robinson.
  3. A run on offense the last few picks. EhDubya and the Bills are now on the clock. I PMd him.
  4. He ran a 4.57 at the combine, I doubt Al Davis is interested anymore.
  5. Good deal for Cleveland. If they're going to rebuild things, they need a playmaker like Cribbs.
  6. i think Schwartz was in his driveway holding up a boombox, blaring "In Your Eyes" Apparently he was sitting out in front of KVB's gate at 11:01 CT calling for him. The good thing for Detroit is, if anybody knows how much Vanden Bosch has left, it's Schwartz. eh, i don't get excited about that. not to say i'm comparing the two but it's just as likely he has an irrational affection for KVB like Marinelli did for all his washed-up former TB players It's possible and I wasn't in favor of the Titans bringing KVB back. I do think Schwartz is a very good talent evaluator, though, and if he actually feels like KVB has something left, I'd believe him. That said, it could very well be an irrational affection he has for him. I hope Vanden Bosch does well in Detroit, though, as I really like him.

  8. Broncos and Redskinsare interested in Kevin Mawae. Denver is also interested in Chad Clifton and Tony Pashos at tackle.
  9. Lions sign DE Kyle Vanden Bosch to a four-year, $26 million deal.
  10. That's a surprise. They've been trumpeting the QB battle the entire offseason.
  11. There are different levels that a restricted free agent can be tendered a contract. 1st and 3rd round. The most expensive for the retaining team, but other teams have to offer up a 1st and 3rd rd pick to sign the player. 1st round. The next step down, the signing team must offer up its first round pick to sign the player. 2nd round. Same as 1st round tender. Original round tender. The lowest contract a team can tender to an RFA. A signing team must offer up a pick in the same round the player was originally drafted in. I think that's all of them. Most all of the tender levels have been available before this year, but there may have been a couple of additions coming with the uncapped year.
  12. Peppers and Haynesworth could be the most expensive half a defensive line in history.
  13. The comparisons of him running to Cody and Ford were pretty awesome.
  14. Thought this might be of interest.
  15. Five picks in and no QB off the board. mhuber and the Seahawks are on the clock, could they be the first team to take a quarterback? I PMd him.
  16. Colt McCoy was the first one to pop into my head when I read this. I was so confused. :rotfl: sneakypower wants the Lions to run a two-QB system.
  17. Clausen, Bradford, Okung, Bulaga, Anthony Davis are all possibilities here. Or maybe Raisin throws a curveball.
  18. All defensive players so far. Raisin and the Redskins are now on the clock. I'll PM him.
  19. SpongeWorthy and the Bucs are now on the clock. I'll PM him.
  20. I'm waiting for you to miss a selection so I can award him to the Jets.
  21. Alright, the Rams select DT Ndamukong Suh from Nebraska. sneakypower and the Lions are now on the clock. I'll PM him.
  22. I'll give mul til 11:30 to get his pick in and then I'll give the Rams Suh – since the McNabb trade rumors appear to be picking up.
  23. you mean a team without a need for a QB isn't going to draft him in the first round? color me surprised I'm pretty sure how you grade a player differs from how strongly you consider drafting them. Just because you have a guy graded out as a 1st rounder doesn't mean you plan on taking him that high if he's there. Caplan's little clip is so vague it's of no value. It's the kind of thing reporters put out there to get page views without saying anything meaningful at all. Very possible.

  25. That's surprising to me. I'm curious as to how he interviewed and if teams think he has the mentality to succeed. I've heard questions about that. Physically, I think he's a no doubt 1st rounder.
