  1. John Clayton seems to think the Titans are interested in reacquiring Haynesworth, but I am not sure if Tennessee really want that contract tho. I'd actually be very interested in re-acquiring Albert. The draft pick to get him likely wouldn't be high at all and the Redskins would be paying the entire guaranteed portion of his salary (I believe). He's a perfect fit for the Titans' defensive scheme and might be re-energized to be back in a system he knows he can be successful in. I'm trying to think of the last major free agent the Skins picked up (during Snyder's era) that's work out for them. Portis was a trade. How about Darrell Green? Or one of the tackles (Jansen or Samuels)?
  2. I think that's the earliest I've seen Odrick go in a mock draft. Mine and Raisin's pick for the Jags should be in shortly.

  4. The Bucs are up now and we'll give SpongeWorthy some time to make the selection.
  5. Yeah, that was more of a what I think the Raiders will (unfortunately) do with the pick. Yeah, that's what I figured. I do like Campbell though.
  6. Campbell would be a great pick for a team in the mid-late part of the 1st round. He needs to go somewhere that he has time to develop. EhDubya and the Bills are on the clock. I PMd him.
  7. With Eric Berry off the board here, the Browns will go with UK's original pick and select Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame. soccer10k and the Raiders are on the clock. I PMd him.
  8. 3 of 5 picks are different so far. mhuber and the Seahawks are on the clock. I PMd him.
  9. His numbers have improved every season. Though I don't know where he tops out. If he tops out where he is right now, I'd call him decent. I wouldn't call him good -- it's probably just semantics though. I'd give him a look if I was a GM, put it that way. He'd be a real nice pickup for the Bills. Apparently, the Bills, Jags, Panthers and Raiders (and a mystery team) are all interested in him. He'd be a certain improvement over 3 of those QBs (Garrard the possible exception).
  10. Transmogrified Tiger and the Chiefs are on the clock. I PMd him.
  11. Just heard on the radio that Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network is reporting that the Redskins are trying to trade Albert Haynesworth.
  12. Raisin and the Redskins are on the clock. I PMd him. By the way, there's been some interest in continuing the original mock as well, so we're still doing that in the other thread.
  13. Good move for them.
  14. Works for me. I put the 4th round draft order on the first post. The Lions are up, if sneakypower wants to select for them.
  15. Michigan St. #1 North Carolina #2 Duke #3 North Carolina #4 Duke #5 North Carolina Duke should be ahead of UNC.
  16. SpongeWorthy and the Bucs are on the clock. I PMd him.
  17. Like I said before, we could continue the other mock in a committee-style format if you and CubbieBum (and anybody else) want to do that.
  18. Campbell is a good QB. Not great but he was headed in that direction. McNabb is still a very good QB but likely headed down. He will have to learn a new system which I believe he hasn't had to do in a real long time plus won't have as good of a receiving core, not that Phily's is that great. If you look at the stats Campbell is close to as good as McNabb at this point. QB rating isn't the greatest but McNabb is only 3.9 better over the last two years than Campbell (89.2-85.3) and Campbell is the much more accurate QB. So basically they are giving up a 2nd rd pick in a loaded draft and a 3rd or 4th next year for a QB maybe a little better than their current one. Add in that McNabb is much older, likely to decline soon, a big salary and the fact that McNabb can walk next year leaving the Redskins with no QB and I say this trade was a bad one for the Redskins and it is not particularly close. I hadn't realized how close Campbell's stats were to McNabb's. I wonder how much better McNabb fits Shanahan's scheme than Campbell does. I know Shanahan likes mobile QBs (Elway, Plummer, Cutler) and I wonder if he felt like McNabb would fit the offense better (because of better mobility)? Campbell isn't Peyton Manning slow, but I believe McNabb is more mobile.
  19. Very good trade for the Redskins, I think. They upgraded at QB by quite a bit and still have their first rounder to take (I assume) Russell Okung to anchor the LT spot.
  20. They won't get anything better than Campbell who is still young. I can't believe they traded him to a division rival. I thought Arizona would have been a good fit. There are some interesting prospects in the 2nd-3rd rounds of this draft. John Skelton, Jarrett Brown, Tim Tebow and Dan Lefevour are all very interesting prospects who can likely be had late 1st to 3rd rounds. Plus, Campbell's going to be 29 next season and was a restricted free agent this year. That said, I think Campbell's a solid QB.
  21. Bullpen. For me to trade Kosuke and rely on a Colvin/Nady duo, it'd have to be a really good reliever (Rafael Soriano, Heath Bell, etc) plus maybe a mid-level prospect or two for me to consider it. Fukudome is far more valuable - especially to us - than relievers.
  22. The Lions and sneakypower are on the clock. I PMd him.
  23. There were a couple more votes to start over in the version 1 mock draft. It kinda made more sense too, as as I don't think the interest would have been there to go beyond the fourth round. This way, we can fit in 2-3 more rounds before the draft starts. I'm up for continuing the other mock draft in a committee format for anybody who's interested, though.
  24. mul21 and the Rams are on the clock. I PMd him.
