  1. Im glad I had a bounce back week. Surprised there hasn't been any close games yet.
  2. If that was ref #85, Cutler would've received a concussion from that hit.
  3. With the savings on the cap, I can't imagine the Bears not cutting Peppers.
  4. I'd start Boldin.
  5. ...Sullivan's injury was not to the head That's my point, if it would've been at the head Suh would've likely been suspended. Short-term leg injuries are more damaging on a career than head injuries. You ask most players and they rather get hit in the head than at the knees. There's a double standard b/c the NFL doesn't like the negative attention towards the head.
  6. The league cares so much about head injuries and the perceived image problem, they fail to address cheap shots like that. He should've been suspended based on his reputation as should others like the G on SF that took out Williams of the Vikings. With that said, I think there's probable cause to suggest that Matthews hit on Kaepernick was premeditated given his comments in the press earlier in the week followed by that obvious hit out of bounds.
  7. Gonzalez Jackson RG III Bowe, Edelman Given what Boldin did to GB, not dumb at all. Jackson and Wallace.
  8. Unless there's some deal made before he becomes a FA, I don't want to see them get in a bidding war for a player at 30-31yo who'll likely be getting paid for elite production when they'll likely be needing to rebuild the defense. It was a great trade regardless if he plays beyond next year or not.
  9. I'm trying to avoid dropping to 0-2, those damn Yahoo! projection models have me as the highest scoring team this week and I can't see that happening. I was active this week going for the flavors of the day and figure I'd run Vick till he gets hurt (next week).
  10. No, I think Cutler is the safer pick oddly enough. Both Romo and Bryant are banged up, but KC on defense wont be nearly as good against Dallas.
  11. Jones.
  12. With Decker being the 4th option in Denver now, I'd go with Ridley and Bell, Bush isn't going to be on any goal-line plays and is already hampered by nagging injuries.
  13. Suh fined 100K. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9658836/ndamukong-suh-detroit-lions-fined-100k-block
  14. It only proves the sanctions weren't severe enough for what Penn St. did (or didn't do in this case).
  15. He is pretty rough to listen to.
  16. Is he trying to figure out how they'll win another game after this debacle? Arkish is 100% better now than when he was on 670 while still employed by the Bears, his years defending Hatley and Jauron were awful to listen to.
  17. I am not looking forward to what Bridgewater is going to do to UK.
  18. I thought Mills did real well yesterday as did the O-Line as a group. To me, that was the storyline of the game and what separates them from last year. Had the Bears been down 21-10 in the middle of the 3rd last year, there would've been no chance for Cutler to go untouched the rest of the way. My MVP's in order: 1 A)O-Line 1 B)Cutler Marshall Paea Bennett Anderson (With that said, they will need to run block better). Also, should be noted how quickly Cutler got rid of the ball which helped the line.
  19. Bruno, I feel for bad you given you had to face Manning.
  20. The draft was amazingly quick.
  21. Bryant Green Marshall Jones in order.
  22. Just seen the draft grades, only gave me a B- but to finish at 8-6. They assume I have an easy sch.
  23. Assuming the right team, getting Brees and Martin was a nice haul. The scoring is more QB friendly than I'd like but the projected point battles are interesting. Right now, I'm 2nd in projected points.
  24. For those in the League, the draft room is open.
  25. Well, we are at 10. I didn't think we'd get there but, it'll be fun. As life gets more hectic, I enjoy the slower pace of fantasy football more than baseball.
