    Is it me, or are there fewer and fewer of those in MLB? What's that... I've questioned Wilson's approach to the game in the past, mentally, I don't think he has the proper focus. I've been wrong about questioning his effort though, he is known for having a very good work ethic. His problems lately have been more physical than anything else. With that said, I'd like to see him press more and put more focus into the mental side of things.

    As much as Clement gets by year by year w/out an arm injury, I am still surprised he has not had one to date. What makes him so deceptive to RH'ed hitters is what scares me with his motion. I question whether he has the stamina to last a full season, even w/out the injury last year.

    His little brother needs to hit more like his older brother did during his ascent to the majors. And then the older brother needs to actually hit once he reaches the majors. Given his tools and previous production in the minors, there's a very high chance of hitting very well in the majors.

    I would rather keep Reed and trade Pierre as well. He's going to be one of the better leadoff hitters for the next 10 years. Based on what? We finally have a true leadoff hitter and this board doesn't like him. Well, 1st off, I won't be baited into some useless group think of NSBB vs. rest of the world type argument. If you're going for that angle, try it for someone who enjoys wasting everyone's time. If you're not, I'll apologize. 2nd, as far as why I'd rather have Reed than Pierre, he has a higher ceiling than Pierre's current level of production. Pierre will likely outproduce Reed this year, but not to the point where I wouldn't want the player who will likely improve to heights that Pierre has never seen, much cheaper and much further away from FA than Pierre. 3rd, why I think Reed will be one of the best future leadoff hitters in the game; Reed has a perfect line drive swing, a great strike zone recognition, great work ethic, above avg. speed, and will only improve.

    Buckley probably had made the choice, Wilken probably sealed the deal for him to switch organizations. I assume Buckley will have the same role in Chicago as he did in Toronto under Riccardi and previously w/Ash as well. As Wilken was mostly responsible for the drafts in the 90s, Buckley ran the drafts of early 00s. Still curious about the area scouts, though. They're the ones that make it happen as well as the bird-dogs.

    Either one of the M's would be fine out of that group. Marrero is better defensively, probably cheaper, and is more versatile than Millar. Millar will likely provide more production offensively, good clubhouse guy, but might command more and be less willing to accept a back-up/platoon role.

    That's my main concern with the bench as it stands, there's no legit option of a RH bat off the bench with the ability to hit for some power. I'm unsure of Hairston's stats, but I assume there isn't much of distinction between the two, to where you could say that Hairston can provide the RH'ed bat off the bench for both scenarios req'd for a PH (the ability to get on and the ability to drive them in).

    Marerro has an OPS around 1.000 against LH'ers the last two years and that includes last year, where he'd try to be Rob Deer.

    If Hackney falls to the 7th, I hope the Bears would take him. I've had a crush on Hackney for quite some time, though. Best pure arm in the draft, better than Young, Leinhart, and Jacobs.

    I would flip-flop Page 2 and Page 3, you have to go into this assuming the reader has no idea what Sabermetrics is. I'd give the Intro before describing why it plays a role.

    He reminds me of Neal. He's big, bulky, and blocking is his primary asset. That what Jones needs is someone who will take on blockers one on one and destroy them, especially w/Jones patient style of running.

    If a penalty like that is part of being strict towards taunting or excessive celebtration, so be it. Perosnally, I don't think was taunting or excessive, but if calls like that occur in the process, I'll take that call over what occurs overall. Which method do you prefer? The way the NCAA handles taunting/excessive celebration or the NFL?

    I'd rather see a young QB over Blake, if you're going to have him as the #3, I'd rather take a shot in the dark with a young QB and hope for a Brady.

    There are going to be players who will try and get away w/as much as he can, I want to lower what they can away with. I agree they should flag the in-game talking just as much as the in-game celebrations.

    Azumah has disappointed me some this year, but I agree DB is not much of a need if he's back. I can definitely see the reasoning with going WR first though. Brown's pretty old too and seems to have an injury history - the main reason I want a G. I want depth at both G and T. For me, if it comes down to St. Clair or Garza as the back T or G, I think Garza is a better back-up than St. Clair. But, if Gilles is there, I'd probably take him unless a T like Whitworth fell.

    There's a FB I like from UW, who's probably the best blocking FB to come out in several years, Johnson isn't as good of a blocking FB as I'd like to see.

    that was a ridiculous call - 15 yards for putting your hand in the air? Thank goodness the NFL doesn't have such absurdly limiting rules. ND is very luck to not be down three or four touchdowns. I liked it, but I'm very old fashioned when it comes to stuff like that. It was a taunt and got the flag, in the NFL he would've had to turn around and point, much stricter in the NCAAs. I'm glad for that.

    Second.. NONONONONONONONONO chad johnson is amazing, and everytime they tone him down, theyre making a mistake If it means getting rid of the bad dances and copy cats and well as the clown acts like TO and Horn have demonstrated over the past few years, I can live w/out Johnson. Although, I enjoy his. Watching Driver of GB pretty much sealed the deal. 4-12 and he acting like he's king of the world b/c he caught a 7yd slant pattern for a 1st down.
