The same Jeff Weaver who has been superb in the playoffs. Different year same story in St.Louis crappy players produce great results. It's a small sample size, someone who shouldn't succeed in the long haul is bound to get hot. Duncan has him doing some good things as well. He's much more of a FB pitcher than he was w/the Angels.

What's going on between Rolen and TLR? Buck keeps mentioning they have not spoken to each other for much of this post-season b/c of Rolen not telling LaRussa about his shoulder bothering him and then LaRussa sitting Rolen earlier this series.

What's Rolen's contract status? Weren't there rumors of A.Rod coming to the Cubs and Rolen replacing him in New York? Didn't the same stuff happen with him in Philly? I think Rolen signed a 7yr deal after the '02 season. Philly had to do with him and Bowa, I don't think is a serious, just stupid considering the timing of it all.

He was already past 1st on a slow trot when the ball dropped, Reyes would not have been in a position to cover 3rd and Delgado has to make an accurate throw from behind the backstop to 3B, regardless of him being a C, it favored Pujols.
