  1. I wouldn't expect anything less from someone with "mojo" in his handle. :P
  2. Cub game? Bottom of the 9th, 6-5 Redlegs.
  3. GJ Bobby. Let's win this one, please.
  4. Okay, dinner time here in the desert. See you all later in the game probably.
  5. :-& I guess I need to renew my Premium subscription to get the :puke: emoticon.
  6. I heard some mutterings here last night that Lee looks like he's playing hurt. Could you tell one way or the other from that AB?
  7. Anyone else worried about the CARDINALS? 6 1/2 isn't that far with the unbalanced schedule.
  8. Nah, it's my bad I edited it. :P Sneaky devil. Thanks for confirming that my eyesight isn't as bad as this the HP umps in this series!
  9. I really hope the light comes on soon for Pie. Dunno - do the Orioles have anything the Cubs would like this go-around? He's lights out in AAA, but not so hot in the proverbial show. Change of scenery/less pressure perhaps? Corey never did that well past AA. Aside from his one year in Chicago. 2003 was going pretty well until that ACL tear. Makes one wonder - could he have turned the corner had he stayed healthy? EDIT: Der - I didn't see that last sentence in your post. Sorry!

  11. I think that's called (1) framing the pitch by the catcher, or (2) laziness by the ump. Someone more knowledgeable that I should affirm or deny. (Hey, that rhymes!)
  12. Dear Rich, Please keep the ball down. Your friend, Kat
  13. MarMOT. That was the animal I had in mind earlier - thank God! I hate it when I can't think of something right on the tip of my tongue!
  14. Which reminds me, what's the story on the automatic K-Zones? Are they still being tried out in places?
  15. I know where you're coming from, but that warrants a call from Modzilla, methinks.
  16. I take it the Cubs actually got out of the inning w/o any runs scored? Who's up this inn? EDIT: Oh, one one scored. Insurance please - 2 or 3 runs out of slam range, preferably?
  17. Yeah, I'm in Paradise Valley tonight - I can TP his house if he blows this one. Only problems are: I don't know which one is his house, and I don't want to get arrested.
  18. Poor Ronny - I'd trade his BA for my weight.
  19. *I wear my SUNglasses at night, so I can, so I can* And then I forget/don't care about the rest.
  20. On behalf of everyone not a Gnats fan, may I say... *YAWN*
  21. I'm having a bad color announcer moment - Marmol - isn't that some rodent like creature that they bake up in the Gobi Desert? Man, what is the name of that thing???
  22. Did a HBP - batter's head. Anyone worried here about retaliation, even though it was totally accidental?
  23. After that pitch by Marquis, it might wind up that way regardless. *cringes thinking of another big bat on the DL*
