    the look on angel hernadez's face is priceless. I really miss Chip Carey. I thought I would never say that but I honestly miss his Energy in the booth.

    I think Murton has a chance to be an all star somewhere down the road , but I will wait to pass judgement until he's got more at bats under his belt.

    I'm really suprized they pulled the trigger on Wuertz this quick i really thought he was going to be a big part of this bullpen this season. Let's hope Wuertz can get it straight down at Triple AAA so he can help out at some point this season.

    I think this a bad deal for the Sox but if there able to trade Jose to a contender at the deadline because he's locked up long term it will be all worthwhile.

    Actually, I think Lee was there last year. yep Lee was there last year I got a jersey number , photo,ball, signed for 30 buck. It was quite the deal.

    Mariotti is a loser. I don't understand why the Cubs and White Sox would take the time to write the Suntimes about this issue that involves Bud Selig. I do agree with Jay on one Baseball in general has to take some heat for letting steroid use getting out of control in the 90's. Didn't the owner of the WWE and such get torn to sheds by the media once wrestlers started dropping like flies. When some of these players don't make it past the age of 45 maybe the issue will be taken more seriously. Ken Camanti won't be the last.

    I remember him having surgery a year or two if he's fully recovered and still throwing 97+ I would take a flier on him at 28 he still has time.

    I don't know about that. The Cubs have a very low committment 2-3 years down the road. They shouldn't be guaranteeing anything to Perez, Rusch or Jones beyond this year. And he went a bit long on the middle relief. But he has much bigger faults than "saddling the payroll" with bad contracts. You mean like saddling the 25 man roster with mediocre talent, thinning a farm system that he had previously worked so hard to build, etc.? Is the thinning out of the farm system because of injuries is his fault? Ramirez, Nomar, Lee,Pierre,Murton, Williams,Barett, is a pretty nice return on that farm system along with Cedeno,Prior,Wood,Wuertz,Ohman among others are a core from the farm to build on.
