    I think the fact that Nefi is a bench player plays a huge role in him not getting booed. Corey got a lot of boo's not just because he looked like he was swinging the bat with a blindfold on and the expectations that where cast on him but also his lackluster attitude.

    I still don't regret the Cubs not trading Prior for Tejada. Because I have absolutely love what Cedeno has done so far. While Tejada has the name recognization, Cedeno gives the Cubs financial flexibility---if needed---to make a trade at the deadline, if needed. Besides, Tejada is slightly overrated, due to the East Coast bias. I like a healthy Prior and Cedeno over Tejada and Bedard. Too bad Tejeda is guy the Cubs will need at the deadline.

    the Wood act is getting really really old time for him to toughen up and throw the ball like he's getting paid to do. It's alwayssomething with this guy.

    Yeah, while I'm aware of that, he wasn't on the DL when we traded for Bynum. It's nice to have one Pagan-type on the team, but it's not a good use of the roster to have two guys with duplicate abilities. Did we really need Neifi and Macias last year? I think not. Pagan was a five tool player who was starting to put it together before he got hurt.. Bynum still has some time in my back before I toss him into the scrap heap

    i'm not worried if this team goes up for sale you can bet that Cuban will easily outbid a guy like Wirtz.

    Wood has been throwing all spring basically right? If thats the case I'm not sure he'll be on too restrictive a pitch count when brought up to the majors.

    I would like to see Wood throwing that Slurve around 5-10 times a game to give those one more thing to think about.

    Moveon.org lets move on. Dubois was loveable, but in no way does he have anything to prove. Lets keep Jones for at least 2 more months in RF and see what he can do. Our offense seems okay for now. Agreed. Wait and see if Jones starts to hit a little bit before worrying about another outfielder. We know Lee and ARam are going to hit. Barrett and Murton can be decent hitters. Let's just hope Jones turns it around a little. I was not advocating getting Lawton to replace Jones. I wanted Lawton to take Pagean spot if his knee injury turns out to be serious. I have moved on but I think a lot of posters here still think think guys like Kelton, Cruz, Choi, Harris,Hill, Dubois,Patterson weren't vauled enough by the Cubs but it looks like every org in baseball basically feels the same way.

    wow I thought the Dubois love train left a long time ago, but it might have been derailed by the superstar express that Choi has been riding on.

    Looks like the M's are going to consider dealing him soon if Pagean goes down for an extended period of time would Lawton make a nice fifth outfielder? I would prefer a guy like Lawton so someone like Pie doesn't have to be rushed.

    I thought Byrum not running for that ball was a really bad move on his part. Aram staring at his double was just as bad.

    the look on angel hernadez's face is priceless. I really miss Chip Carey. I thought I would never say that but I honestly miss his Energy in the booth.

    I think Murton has a chance to be an all star somewhere down the road , but I will wait to pass judgement until he's got more at bats under his belt.

    I'm really suprized they pulled the trigger on Wuertz this quick i really thought he was going to be a big part of this bullpen this season. Let's hope Wuertz can get it straight down at Triple AAA so he can help out at some point this season.
