  1. It'd be nice to finish this up with another dong or two
  2. Yeah, he really has not looked good up there in spite of what his line says. But that's baseball, I guess.
  3. Who would have predicted Lackey would have these numbers after his first two starts? It's even better knowing how the Cards' rotation has taken such a step back.
  4. Every ball Zobrist has put in play today has been scalded.
  5. Coomer is terrible, but to be honest, Pat has also been pretty bad every time I've heard him this year. The step down from the TV broadcast to the radio is pretty steep right now.
  6. It seems like they were prepared for it, so it must have been something in the bullpen warmup. Which is strange, because if something seemed wrong, why not just scratch him?
  7. Man, I hope it's not serious. But yeah, f- pitchers.
  8. There are plenty of plastic packages that are awkward and nigh impossible to open, leading to cuts and gouges. Of course you just have to be smart enough to not use a knife to open them, but not everyone is. If it was just a basic box, I have no idea how that happens.
  9. White Sox on the verge of blowing another lead. And they did. That team is melting down.
  10. You don't remember Greg Garcia hitting a big homer against the Cubs last year? I remembered the name but had to look up the specific details, but that was the game Bob Costas spewed that BS about Strop asking forgiveness from a dead relative. Yeah, Garcia is burned into my memory for that. I was like "really? Greg horsefeathering Garcia?" I feel like Len and JD had just finished saying that Garcia had little power when it happened, too.
  11. Yeah, he could barely put any weight on the leg. Probably not good.
  12. Or the part where he was calling for someone to back up the catcher during an intentional walk, Stone told him that's not legal, and he tried halfheartedly to argue with him.
  13. Lost in the awesomeness of that finish is that fact Salvador Perez was injured. So that's Gordon, Moustakas and Perez in a short period of time.
  14. Yeah, Ventura had a huge hand in that comeback. Stayed with Robertson for way too long, and Kahnle when it was clear he had little command.
  15. I guess the Sox just lack twtw. After the walk-off hit, MLB.tv cut off the Sox feed more quickly than any other game I've seen on MLB.tv or MLBEI. The Royals feed was on for at least another five minutes. This makes me sad, I probably missed out on a ton of Hawk's crying.
  16. Yeah, that call was some hot bull horsefeathers.
  17. Is the top right Koyie Hill? Idk who either of those guys are either. its Tyler Colvin Who contributed a shish kebab recipe, I'm sure.
  18. I may be crazy, but I've never lost the belief that Jorge will be really good (at least at the plate). I've been frustrated with him for sure, and my expectations have lowered a bit, but they're still pretty high.
  19. Because like other Cardinals analysts, he's a knuckle dragging troglodyte for whom simply forming complete sentences is an accomplishment.
  20. It's always the most frustrating when it's an aggressive young player who is trying to be more selective, but being punished for it.
  21. I've watched quite a bit of Cards baseball this year, and Oh has looked pretty damned good the vast majority of the time.
  22. Gotta see if he can get Wainwright a win, lol. Regardless of the outcome, this is a poor decision.
