Frankly, I'd rather see the Pirates make the poastseason than the Mets. I mean we own the Bucs. Is there another team that we'd rather see them face in October? That said, the current stretch may put them in a deep, deep hole.

The Pirates are in a bad way right now, and are in the midst of a long, tough stretch. Their pitching isn't good, Cole (potentially) and Cervelli are hurt, and their best player is having a disappointing year. They could easily be 20 games back in the division and several in the WC by the break unless their fortunes turn.
