  1. He's had the 4th and 7th hardest hit balls today and both are over .390 xBA. Neither landed. That PA super sucked but he deserves one hit today.
  2. The most Brewers win would be to only get four hits, have Bregman bloop one in amist all of his struggles, and then strand the runner on 2nd in the 10th with some no name on the mound.
  3. Well, I'd go back to just letting Kelly handle the challenges.
  4. Jacob Webb. I'm not sure if they can find a run to win this, but they're really battling.
  5. I mean, they scored 8 yesterday and have been the 4th best wRC+ offense during June. I wouldn't say "of course" no offense. I'm far more surprised at the pitching holding them to one run so far.
  6. Can't tell if I'd rather Shaw have a knock or Craig just have made a baffling choice.
  7. Weird call from Craig here. I'd rather just go with Shaw.
  8. MeGill hasn't given up a HR all year. Today would be a good day to turn that into one.
  9. I have no idea what this game will end up being, but the Brewers have been horrible all weekend with RISP. A good reminder when the Cubs struggle it's not uniquely them and only them, With that said, this is a great weekend to make them pay for it.
  10. This is at least the correct umpire for someone like Tyler Ferguson who struggles with strikes.
  11. Right. But it's also pretty fair to think that by misdiagnosing it, they didn't properly treat the root cause. By getting a more accurate image this time. and knowing it's a stress fracture versus something else, it's more likely they fix it. Who knows if he'll be back this year, and neck issues can be a problem, but this is a bone thing more than anything. And I can't remember a single pitcher who's career was derailed entirely by a stress fracture, though I'm just going off of my memory here.
  12. I remain a Caleb Thiebar truther. 115 Stuff+, fasbtall velo up a bit from last year, 29 K%. Something is off location wise a bit, his walks are up...but I think he can still be good. But you can see with the fastball he's just off a bit. Not surprising, he's got a lot of moving parts when he throws and falls off the mound. Got out of it there. Alright.
  13. I wouldn't put Wilson in a rotation, but when he was first out of the pen he was gunning 94-95mph with regularity. I'd be interested in seeing him in a middle relief role.
