Sasaki can, and probably will be a good SP in the future. Right now, he's not good. Ignore the velo - he is just piping horsefeathers. Cubs are hitting him hard. xBA over .300 Red are fastballs. He is just piping it. Cubs need to take advantage of this.

On one hand I just want to appreciate Tucker for Tucker, but it's hard not to think every day "give him the money". He's a great baseball player.

I'd really like it to be true too. It's debatable how much you should trust their stuff, they have a tendency to be off often. But they're claiming 10/11 years at $450-500m, no opt outs, no deferred and NTC. TIFWIW.

Not sure I'd assume that. It's Hector Gomez and Mike Rodriguez, but both have on the past 2 days claimed the two sides are talking extension. Hector came with details. It's two people who I'd consider to be far less legit than a Passan, but it's oddly specific.
