  2. Petition to always call the braves the barves from now on
  3. KB played in CF, too. I saw it in person (after buying front row seats at 3rd...)
  4. I don't like this injury one bit and i still dont understand any of it
  5. The crowds in the National's two back-to-back walk-off losses reminded me of the Obama and trump inaugurations in more ways than one
  6. "Depending on if Bote's liner to CF was a simulated out or simulated double" ha ha knowing the David Bote I know, im going to say double
  7. I hope you are right, because I agree. Id like to keep Schwarber, its just he has so much more value than any of the other guys we'd be willing to trade and could actually get us something exciting back.
  8. I just really don't see us trading Heyward, and I also don't see us going with a Schwarber-Heyward-Harper outfield, as much fun as the lineups would be. I think if we sign Harper then we will trade Schwarber, which meas we should be able to get a good SP back.
  9. Haha in the offseason I said we should trade him cause of reasons and people, I think a certain robotman leading the charge, was like "HES A 24 YEAR OLD 3 WAR PLAYER ARE YOU CRAZY?" or something I dont remember. But I was definitely one of the first to be all about shipping him out. Its weird to talk about trading current guys as I hope they all play great, even Daddison Russell, but if we are going to add Bryce this offseason maybe package Daddy with Schwarber for the biggest return we can get and play up his defense+youth+supposedBarryLarkinpotential to someone stupid like the Mets. Make Chatwood be a part of it to add salary, and get one of those GOOD starting pitchers some teams out there have.. include Almora or Happ or both if you have to, I dont care. By then the Cardinals will cut Dex and we will sign him for minimum and he will go back to All Star levels because karma is real. C Contreras 1B Rizzo 2B Bote/Zobrist SS Baez 3B Bryant LF Harper CF Fowler/Adam Jones/some cheap vet who will play out their ass because we are a super team and thats what super teams do/Almora RF Heyward deGrom Darvish Hendricks Lester Quintana
  10. Is there a way we could pay Bryce like 28 mil in the first year or two of the deal and then 42 in years 3 and 4 as a way to stay below the worst penalty and give us time to unload/let expire other contracts?
  11. It better be a horsefeathering haul if we are going to be trading a future MVP
  12. Im sure it was very loud that close
  13. I think they declined the option on Hammel because he asked Theo to. He wanted to sign a multi year deal with someone and Theo respected it.
  14. Eloy is laying waste to AAA, though. Bryce Harper, though.
  15. I hope we don't trade Montgomery unless its part of some superstar return. He is so underappreciated.
  16. We sign Harper and put him in RF and keep Schwarber in LF and I don't really worry too much about Eloy... Im more worried about Cease ending up a legit #1 through his rookie deal. That would suck, but its baseball. Hopefully we win a couple rings with Quintana contributing and then it ends up being a win-win for both teams. But to say that this will be the worst trade in franchise history at this point is horsefeathering ridiculous.
  17. OK I guess a better question to ask at this point then is whats up with this job, Longshoreman? Is it typical of these people to only work 1 day a month?
  18. You keep telling us he isn't other players like we don't realize that... his name is Jesse Chavez. We realize that he isnt anyone else. I dont understand what that has to do with anything? Are you suggesting its a money thing, why he cant get a babysitter 12 days a year? Sure, hes made in 9 years ($16mil) what those players you named make in less than 1, but thats still a lot of cheddar. I have successful friends that make far less than $1 mil a year that have nannies or a reliable babysitter that theyd take on vacation with them, etc.
  19. Guy. Yeah I didnt realize he essentially replied to his own trade proposal, my b
  20. Im assuming they let her know more than 24 hours in advance when that particular day will be? And im also assuming major league baseball players have support staff and secretary's that would be able to assist in finding them a reliable baby sitter? I dunno, just seems like a weird thing to me. Carry on.
  21. Am I reading this correctly? A major league baseball player and his wife have a hard time finding a babysitter once a month?
  22. Russell, Happ, Almora and prospects for Mike Trout? Cmon guys
