There is a 3 year old thread here titled, "Kyle Hendricks: Somehow Greg Maddux" and then we signed him to an extension in 2019 that pays him 1997 Greg Maddux money and people will still find ways to criticize it. -

In my mind Bryce only picked Philly because he misunderstood Trout somehow when they were talking about his free agency and now he's VERY pissed off this morning. -

Even better is how the Cubs completely whiffed or didn't even bother trying to trade for ANY of the baller players the Marlins were dumping. It all makes sense if you buy the collusion theory. MLB owners spreading the superstars around, making sure no NBA-like superteams happen.

I dont understand why the front office would prevent Zobrist from coming to camp all because of a possibility he may be traded. I cant imagine that would go over well in the clubhouse if that happened and the trade fell apart.

More likely they had an extensive phone call that someone hearing about it second hand would abbreviate to 'met'. Much more likely the whole rumor is BS. Does BS stand for Bryce Signing
