    Why is this idea of Schwarber replacing Rizzo becoming a thing? The only time we should be talking about replacing Rizzo is when his contract is up and he makes it known that he won't extend a few more years.

    Pretty sure Lakes IF days are long gone. He's a LF who can fake it in CF a bit. But yea I'd say he'd still make it over Szczur Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thought I saw Lake playing 3B in a game or two this spring? Thought I saw Will Ferrell playing some 1B this spring, too.

    It's in our best interest to give Olt his second shot here, too, since it's really only a couple handful of games, he's got pedigree, we've invested resources into him and it's not like he's butchering it. Is he a better option than KB? Of course [expletive] not, but thinking optimistically, a nice start for him before moving in to and handling a backup/utility role obviously improves his trade value. If KB starts on opening day and Olt starts well in AAA, well, whoopdeedoo ya know.

It's fine to think he will bust, but to think there isn't one smarter option out there than a 22 year old power-hitting, middle-infielding, multiple-option-possessing 2014 top 5 prospect -- just one... then maybe this thread isn't for you.

    Could you explain what you mean by this? Like, as a manager or broadcaster or something? The guy clearly wants anything along those lines; coaching, broadcasting, basically being a human mascot...he just wants back in, period. Yeah I get that, but thats all dependent on someone hiring him. I just don't see any team wanting him to be their human mascot (unless the Reds or someone has already come out and implied as much if he were available as such). Ray Rice might be willing to sign with a team to be their lockerroom attendant, doesn't mean anyone will actually give him the job.

    Me too but part of me fears we've entered into a whole new era of umpire bashing. How is this possibly something you would "fear." Too much bullying could make them feel like ISIS is the only place they can turn to?

    i don't think war accounts for their pitchers being exhausted by the third inning because they have to cover first on every play Just throw the ball at the bag if it gets to first before the runner he's out. Worked for us when we played sandlot ball. This is a flawless plan. I see nothing that could go wrong here.
