    Ehh, he's having an average year.. career high in homers already, such an averagey thing to do.

    This is a weird thread... maybe I'm not understanding the criteria, but didnt we produce these everyday players: Corey Patterson, Felix Pie, Ronny Cedeno, Ryan Theriot, Geo Soto, Sam Fuld and the like? Not world beaters or a list of super long careered guys, but so far, they have all proven more than Bryant, Schwarber, Soler.. No matter how much we all think and expect our current 3 to mash the next 15 years, they are all still working on getting a full season under their belts. This thread just feels like bad karma, like its asking to be dug up from the grave in 2018 after the last of our current Can't Missers flames out... I'm sure I'm wrong.. I hope I'm wrong.. but lets just pump the breaks a bit?

    Plus, most of the time you're taking him out for defense. How about: Fowler Russell Schwarber Bryant Rizzo Soler Montero Pitcher Coghlan ?? Rizzo needs to be higher than 5. Stick Fowler between Soler/Montero?

    Eh, I doubt it. It'd be great if Almora makes it as our CF, but by that time, we can find another guy to replace him. Maybe Happ, maybe Baez, maybe we just sign Fowler for 4 more years

    If Baez plays his way to our ML roster I don't think moving him all over the place is the best way to utilize him. Find him a spot and leave him there to mash. Coghlan can be the super sub guy, or he gets traded. A figured out Javy Baez moves around for no man.

    That's ridiculous. No one would be upset if the Cubs started spending money, I think a lot of people would be upset. I think a lot of people wouldn't be upset. I think a lot of people wouldn't care. I think a lot of people wear stupid clothing. I think a lot of people have crazy hair.

    Of course it doesn't change his projection, but it's economics. Supply and demand. If Justin Upton hits 4 homeruns and a double tonight, I'm sure the demand will go up for him more than what it currently is because, well, awesome performances tend to help your value.
