He's improved his approach since coming back. He's putting the ball into play and making solid contact. Dusty was a bimbo for calling a sac bunt there. Seriously, why bunt Nomar over for Blanco or Barrett when Patterson has already shown he can hit left handed pitching?

That's pretty generous. Prior's suppose to be the ace, and the Cardinals have several scrubs playing. He's far from an ace. Enough of this already. It's a miracle he is actually playing this season considering the comebacker he took. Ever stop and think he might not be 100%? How about the fact that Froemming was jerking him around out there with the strike zone tonight? Or maybe the fact that he's still 24, when most pitchers his age are still in the minors or just getting called up?

But for his third baseman, he should be winning this game. If Bruce Froemming had bent over and seen Lee's HR with his good eye, he would still be winning this game. Heck, if Froemming decided not to squeeze the strike zone, then we probably would be winning, too!
