Correct, although it bears pointing out that Clemens robbed Randy Johnson of a Cy Young in 2004 when RJ had Randy beat in every category except wins. -

I'm still convinced that team would have made the playoffs if Baker hadn't screwed up so many times with his idiotic lineups and terrible bullpen management. Ugh, just thinking of the last 10 games of that season makes me feel ill. -

For those of you who may have missed it, Brian Dopirak pinch hit for West Tenn today and went 0/1. -
I wouldn't be all too concerned about this particular point. Catchers tend to be brought along much, much more slowly than any other position in the minors. He's 23 now (24 in July) and I believe the average age in High A is 22.5 years old. I'd love to see the guy in AA in the near future, though.

There's a RHP/C named Stock out of HS who's supposed to be the Next Big Thing like Upton was last year. so uh, the way it's going we might end up with him? :oops: Assuming the Cubs pick #3 behind KC and Pittsburgh and he's making reasonable demands for his talent...yes.
