  1. Thanks for the link. In terms of pitchers, Maestri, Martinez, and Roquet are all pitchers I know nothing about. Jose Pina is a guy that will merit keeping an eye on. He put up good numbers in the AZ League last season and is only 20 years old. Ruhlman is a lefty with some upside. Pawelek everyone knows about. Jackson might become a nice bullpen arm. Hopefully Petrick can rehab back to 100%. Position-wise, Episcopo and Lewis both are intriguing OF guys. Sammy Baez is supposed to be a defensive wizard despite his youth. Canzler's been pounding the ball down in the AZ League for the past two years now. Puello is supposed to be quite good defensively at 3B and is repeating the NWL. Castillo and Lalli don't ring any bells for me.
  2. He was supposedly hitting up to 100-101 in Dayton so I think that the gun was fairly accurate. In his interview with BA, he said that he added some strength and endurance in the offseason that has allowed him to really pump up his velocity. Daytona. :D Also, word is those guns were fast.
  3. Yeah it figures you would poop on my parade with that. If Andy ever does make the White Sox I'll be the most conflicted person on this board. Just talk to him about the benefits of holding out for big dough. ;)
  4. Sons of Sam Horn is the most well-known Red Sox board out there. Lots of guys in the organization and media post there. As for the White Sox...you're on your own, haha.
  5. Angola is now down to 10 men. I'm expecting Mexico to score in the next 10 minutes.
  6. Wouldn't an English translation of 2 Spanish speakers be grammatically correct? The expletive was one of those words that's exclusive to Spanish and hard to translate into English. It roughly comes out to, "Effeminate man who is on the receiving end of a donkey rape during the Day of the Dead."
  7. It's like trying to drive a Corvette after driving a Pinto.
  8. So are they going to have Chip and Skip Caray doing those Budweiser Father's Day commercials just to keep screwing with Cubs fans?
  9. Hank White will carry this team, female doges!
  10. Was Leyland lighting up in the dugout before the camera moved away?
  11. He can throw with the team before he signs in a workout of sorts.
  12. Busy day at Wrigley with all of the pitchers throwing, the Peoria Chiefs in attendance, and Adam Morrison hanging out.
  13. Considering Marshall's and Guzman's injury histories, that's not a bad idea.
  14. Luh-loyd is the bullpen coach in Detroit? I'm speechless.
  15. With the Tigers ahead of this team by miles, it'll take a couple (hundred) innings for the Cubs to get even with them.
  16. Is it me, or does it seem like the only time this team ever scores is when the other team screws up?
  17. Hmmmmm...should I watch this for comedy purposes or Angola/Mexico?
  18. Watch Gooz throw 5 scoreless innings with 7 Ks and 1 BB.
  19. Nope, it's an effort to make them more comfortable with the idea of getting traded.
  20. Jody to Donald Veal: "You see what Glendon is doing there Don? That's going to be you if you don't cut down on those fly balls."
  21. This is the funniest game I've seen since the JK Ryu debacle against Atlanta.
