  1. Apparently Z was aiming at Cintron. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
  2. Zambrano-Lee-Ramirez would make a heck of a 3-4-5!
  3. Personally, I hope he and Jay Mariotti fulfill a murder/suicide pact.
  4. If the Cubs were stealing signs, it did them a heck of a lot of good in that inning.
  5. They will. I'm predicting the bullpen blows it.
  6. Hawk is pretty much beside himself at the moment. This is wonderful.
  7. Apparently only when the manager's job is on the line. Yay Matt.
  8. Speaking of a series that has turned into a massive debacle!
  9. That swing produced an unexpected result. Ah well, let's hope Z goes nuts and starts beaning guys left and right.
  10. If that were Murton, Dusty would have pulled a Bobby Cox and yanked him in the middle of the inning. But no, Pagan's a horse.
  11. Quote of the day goes to our toothpick chewin' genius of a manager:
  12. hahahahahahahahahaha
  13. I'm not sure if Dusty said it, but I'm pretty sure Hendry was the one who said something like, "Pagan has the potential to be a Beltran-like player" or something along those lines.
  14. Lincoln Holdzkom was the random starter of the day down in Mesa. I was wondering what happened to him.
  15. *Takes a bow* Any time, gents. :D

  17. The Angels did the same thing with Nick Adenhart in the 2004 draft, where they threw a boatload of money at him despite being a 14th rounder. That's turned out quite well for them so far.
  18. Samardzija with an awesome start to the game. He went 3 scoreless and has allowed one hit, one walk, and 5 Ks. Papelbon is now in for the Hawks.
  19. The last time I can remember Dusty coming out and passionately arguing about something was the infamous botched double switch. Somehow, in retrospect, it figures that was the only thing he cared enough about to get really angry.
