  1. Tony Romo? BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  2. but, but, but... he has 9k's! you're doing that not-at-all tired, completely hilarious green font thing like the k's don't, in part, cancel out some of the harm from the walks, but they do. bring him back up. haha, i guess you didn't catch the fake sarcasm Is that like double reverse super secret sarcasm?
  3. Jim Maloney's Career Numbers Wiki Profile for Maloney Color me shocked shocked shocked that his career tapered off and ended due to arm injuries!
  4. Pete Rose is excited! He just won $2,500 at the sports book!
  5. Frankly, with Maloney throwing over 180 pitches in a game, I'm surprised he's not throwing 30 mph at that point in the game. His mechanics aren't that great, either.
  6. Jim Maloney threw over 177 pitches in a ballgame?
  7. Is it me or is the audio feed slightly off from the video feed on WGN? Len's mouth was not moving in time with the audio.
  8. Tarp is back on. Looks like they were just getting the water off of it.
  9. I'm pretty much at a loss regarding what happened to him. I once thought he was going to be a 10-15 HR type of guy. Looks like the crew is getting ready to get the tarp off.
  10. For those of you who are bored, Rich Hill's currently pitching down in Iowa. He's gone 4 scoreless with 7 Ks, 3 hits, and 3 BBs. Box Score with links to the Gamecast: Link
  11. Definitely looks like a delay to the start. The tarp hasn't come off yet.
  12. Okay, Ryan Dempster is now 100,000 times more awesome in my book.
  13. Soriano could use an extra day of rest anyway, imo.
  14. Fun survey time! Who do you think is the Cubs' best prospect currently in the minor leagues? Rich Hill and Sean Marshall don't count.
  15. Lol, who would've thought Milton Bradley would be the peace maker in a brawl? I was half expecting Bradley to start pounding on Laird for acting up the way he did. Bradley was looking vaguely psychotic while keeping Laird away from the Mariners.
  16. I became immune to this stuff back in 2006. I also gave up regretting what could have been with Prior in 2007. Maybe he really was fragile and would have broken down no matter what. But...damn, between colliding with a midget 2B and taking a line drive right off his pitching arm, the guy had some terrible luck. It didn't help that his team didn't give a crap about his long-term health.

  18. I don't know what to post in this thread. So here's a dancing penguin. http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/1651/70de0b50d2ba2c7d0e05eecha4.gif
  19. They're trying to save face, imo. They know the Knicks pulled the rug out from under them.
  20. It's not just overworking him, although that is an important part of the argument. It was stupid to use him in this context, considering we used him yesterday and we're in the middle of a tough series against the best team in baseball. If we end up in a high leverage situation tomorrow (let's say up by 1 in the Top of the 7th with the Diamondbacks threatening with men on 1st and 2nd and one out), we won't be able to use him. It's fine to get him regular work, but this is just wasting him.
  21. Montero flies out to CF. Game over! Cubs Win!
