  1. That was a huge block.
  2. That definitely would dispel any notion that he doesn't have a mean streak.
  3. Also great awareness on Griffin's part to tuck his head in. He could have sustained a really serious injury if he had landed square on his head. Should have turned his body so he didn't come down so square on his back, though. It looked like he landed it pretty well. You're supposed to spread out the force of a landing like that across as large of an area as possible. If you land on your side, you risk doing something like dislocating your shoulder or breaking your arm. Landing on your back is actually a good choice in those situations.

  5. UNI just got screwed on that call. That was a bad, bad call.
  6. One of the Cal players is rockin' the face guard. I love those things and wish that players would customize them with designs like on goalie/catcher helmets.
  7. Hummel just got clobbered.
  8. Watch BYU make the tournament again next year and reach the Elite Eight.
  9. Purdue got roughly 100 offensive rebounds on that one.
  10. "They're not very strong inside..." *Cal gets a strong and easy inside basket* "..."
  11. I thought a Hummel was what you got from a Korean prostitute.
  12. I'm digging the random arm and shoulder tattoos on one of them. It speaks to what a classy guy he is.
  13. They are playing Robbie Hummel. and the other guys on Purdue. My friends down here have tried convincing me that Purdue would get killed today for two reasons: 1) Purdue lives and dies by the three 2) UNI has two guys who are like seven feet tall I'm glad I actually watched Purdue this season instead of just three times against U of I. The 7 footers on UNI are some of the slowest, most unathletic players you'll ever see. It's like they're running with concrete feet.

  15. What jamok is saying this? It comes from this article: http://www.indystar.com/article/20090317/SPORTS0605/903170361/1073/SPORTS0605 Here are a couple quotes: That's a whole lotta butthurt.
  16. Roburt Sallie singlehandedly won the game for Memphis.
  17. In terms of seeding, it would be tied with the other 4 #15 seeds that beat #2 seeds. I'm not sure how to determine which 15 seeds were better than the others. Point spreads.
  18. CSN is going blow for blow with Memphis. I'm enjoying it.
  19. It seems like every third possession they chuck the ball into the 5th row. They're just playing really bad basketball right now.
  20. I'd say about 80% of the KC crowd is behind CSN. This is fun.
  21. Oh God NO! IT'S BACK. From the east coast! To the west coast! Down in Dixie highway!
  22. I love comparing the skank quotient in cheerleaders for each college. LSU is way ahead in the lead so far.
  23. If you're not watching Memphis/CS-N, Northridge has not been dropping threes at will. Memphis has just been playing really sloppy basketball and might find themselves in bad foul trouble come the second half. Northridge has just been pounding the ball inside and getting guys like Evans and Dozier in foul trouble. I'm guessing Memphis gets ripped apart in the locker room and dominates Northridge in the second half. Northridge really is not this good.
