  2. Go Magic.
  3. I have Vitters-Thomas 1-2. :D However, Castro is probably #3 after that. I'd really like to know more about him before jumping onto his bandwagon head-first. It's a bit of a pain to find any decent scouting reports out there on him. Namely, I'd like to know whether he's still growing into his body, whether he's been hitting the ball into play with authority or punch and Judy style, and whether he is working long at bats or swinging away early in the count. With Thomas, there's a lot more information out there about him. I feel more comfortable saying that his success this season is sustainable than I do with Castro.
  4. Does anyone have an animated gif of Lilly steamrolling Molina? That was one of the best moments from last season.
  5. Pay per views tend to be fun times. You'll usually get a ton of matches without much talking or hype. The lineup for tonight looks to be halfway decent, to boot. The Batista Orton match might make you wanna kill yourself though. Uggggggggggggggh. I can't stand Batista.
  6. Kind of driving me nuts seeing a typo you keep repeating, Fred. It's Keppinger, not Kepplinger. :D

  8. The Cubs tend to be fairly conservative with position players when it comes to promotions. However, if Vitters keeps this up, I don't see how the Cubs could hold him back any longer. Plus, it's not like anyone's blocking him at Daytona. Opitz and Rosa haven't exactly been world-beaters at 3B this season.
  9. I went kayaking today instead. *Shrug* Can't blame you for that one. Kayaking rules.
  10. So, how many runs will Cotts allow here?
  11. Ping's being treated to quite a show, it seems.
  12. Neal Cotts is warming up. Where's a sniper when you need one?
  13. The grass is not always greener when it comes to prospects. The PCL's pitching is not good. For God's sake, Shawn Estes is in the Top 5 for ERA.
  14. The only useful purpose Fox could serve on this team is as a DH in the upcoming interleague games, but something tells me Micah Hoffpauir would get the nod over him. Right now, he doesn't have the chops to play 3B, we already have two viable options at 1B, and the OF is cluttered. Remember how bad Ryan Braun was at 3B for the Brewers and how much that hurt them? Fox deserves a chance, but I just don't see how he can fit on this roster. Moreover, there's no guarantee he'd carry over his success from Iowa to the majors.
  15. Fox is mediocre at best at 1B. Something tells me he's not going to be a world-beater at 3B.
  16. Never again will I trust a relief pitcher wearing goggles.
  17. Should've told him to throw at the Bull, Geo.
  18. Well, if we're going to blow it, I wouldn't mind seeing us do so by going on an HBP parade.
