The NL West is the Dodgers meat of schedule. The W column might get big. Hopefully starting next week, or never. I'm not saying they'll drop out of the playoff race, but I have a feeling their record isn't going to be nearly as close to that good come August.

Only I'm guessing they win more than zero postseason games. Like, probably at least 7. They've had an easy schedule in the early going, playing mostly against NL West teams. Wait and see where they are once they get into the meat of their schedule.

Thats true, but if they plan on promoting someone, wouldnt they rather the one who is experiencing some success? The other 4 have been awful. Sometimes the Cubs have hitters do things that go against their statistical success. I know in the past they've ordered some guys not to swing or to swing only in enormously limited circumstances. Other times they'll tweak guys' swing mechanics or something else, which could result in an adjustment/slump period. Yeah, typically the guys who get promoted are doing well. However, sometimes guys will get promoted for reasons beyond their numbers.

Colvin's going to get a free pass for a decent portion of the year due to his Tommy John Surgery and his nasty collision in the OF that resulted in him getting a concussion. He's going to need more time to recover from those things.

I was hoping to find a better picture of his abnormally shaped butt. . .no such luck. I shudder at the thought of what that Google Image Search much have looked like.

That and get an owner who won't go out of his way to alienate one of the better fanbases in baseball.

He did a great job blocking the plate, but Z got his glove down on the wrong spot. If he immediately tagged Morgan on the arm, Morgan would have been out. However, the glove made contact with Morgan's head/chest after Morgan's left arm touched home.
