  1. As mentioned here, Soto is set to begin his rehabilitation in Tennessee, which should last about three days. He's playing for the AZL Cubs tonight.
  2. Must not have lost any weight, guess he can just stay there till he does.... Eh, he was fairly pudgy in summer of last year. I don't think the weight is that much of an issue.
  3. And here's your post-game Village People music video!
  4. Maybe we can finally move Soriano to 2nd and Fox to LF if Lou can predict where the hitter will hit the ball every time and move Soriano to the oposite position. It'd be kind of fun to watch a baseball game with the players shuffling all around the field after every AB. We could even have Hill and Fox swap gear between at bats!
  5. Hit on his elbow in his AB, then taken out while stumbling around a bit and holding his head.
  6. Also, Soto is in the lineup for the AZL Cubs, so it looks like his rehab is on schedule for a return next week.
  7. Meanwhile, Michael Brenly hit a HR tonight for the Chiefs. Prepare for unnecessary amounts of gushing tomorrow night.
  8. The biggest rule I've learned from Bob Brenly is to never mess with catchers.
  9. I like to think of these games as learning experiences. We need constant reminders that life is painful and chaotic, and yet somehow enjoyable despite those things.
  10. Can we just release the entire bullpen and bring up the AAA pitching staff tomorrow? What a [expletive] joke.
  11. This post strikes me as odd for someone with four posts who joined today. Yeah, I don't like him either. Ban him! He could be larhur reborn! That'd be fun.

  13. Let's hope they keep that up and the Cubs do the opposite.
  14. You were right about him awhile ago when he was cubsin2009 or whatever the hell he was.
  15. See you again when you re-register, champ. Who was he? CubsGM. It's like he's playing hide and go get banned.
  16. People bitching about scoreboard-watching also qualifies as both of those things Both of you knock it off. we're not fighting, and if he wants to keep us updated on the cardinals game, that would be fine with everyone, i think. I just can't stand hearing "CARPENTER GOT A HIT ONLY THE CARDINALS PIXIE DUST" every time someone does something. It's awful and embarrassing. That's fair. I just don't want things going any further than that.

  20. In retrospect, moving Marquis was not a good move. However, considering he was mediocre at best while with this team and horribly overpaid, it was a great deal at the time.
