  1. yeah, this wont end well. For Holliday! :D
  2. Jerome Walton, Pat Listach, and Bobby Crosby all give hima serious run for his money. Ben Grieve, LOL Nice choice. Crosby had injury problems he never fully recovered from, so I'm willing to give him a pass. Huh, apparently Lou Piniella won the award back in 1969. Go figure.
  3. It's official.
  4. As a reminder to some of you in this thread:
  5. Happy for his numbers, skeptical of his continued success at higher levels. His stuff isn't particularly noteworthy, including a fastball that sits in the high 80s/low 90s. He's topped out at 91/92 when I've seen him.
  6. He looks like he's terrified of the thread title.

  8. I also enjoy the thread title for making it sound like Aaron Miles got lost in the wilderness.
  9. Grooooooooooooooooooan. That's the one thing that's kept me from getting too excited about Vitters.
  10. If Castro puts up numbers at Tennessee comparable to what he did in Daytona, he'd probably be in the Top 75-Top 50 range. There are still a handful of questions about him, but he's gone from relative unknown/sleeper in this system to one of the better SS prospects in the game. That's quite impressive.
  11. From someone other than Miles, who has never OPSed .800 in a season and, as far as I can tell, has never provided adequate defense. I have serious doubts that Aaron Miles can hit .300 with this team, to boot.
  12. If there are no rain delays, Aaron Shafer. You miss Archer by a day. Come onnnnnnnnnnnn weekend t-storms! Asking for 1 night of rain around here this summer isnt much lol. By the way, i could go Sunday instead O_O........ :D Sunday's my busiest day. I'm either going to be on the road back to Champaign or racing around town all day.
  13. If there are no rain delays, Aaron Shafer. You miss Archer by a day. Come onnnnnnnnnnnn weekend t-storms!
  14. I think he's feeling better.
  15. Yes, because this team clearly needs to have another bullpen pitcher with control issues.
  16. I really dislike the fact that no one in the bullpen seems capable of throwing a 1-2-3 inning.
  17. Oh God Lou. Stop thinking about using Marmol as the fireman.
  18. There's something to be said for having an athletic lefty in the system. Given their love of athletic pitchers and strong scouting presence in Texas, I figured the Cubs would be targeting one of him, Miller, or Wilson in the draft and was quite happy to see the Cubs get him as late as they did.
  19. only someone from Indiana or North Dakota would say that. Terribly mediocre. I doubt Ohio is loaded with them either. Depends on her lower half. I'm guessing she's a Miami (OH) girl. So, I'd say she's probably a 7, max.
  20. his game thread posts have allowed him to blow by me in post count That takes some real effort, too.
