    That's either really awesome or a sneaky way of saying I'm getting banned. I'm sure there are plenty of people in favor of both of these courses of action.

    So here's this: I can see 'em winning 8 of the next 10 and getting that confidence back...sweeping teams and taking 2 of 3 from others. I hate to be a broken record, but Soriano not playing is the greatest addition by subtraction ever. His worthless ass being off the field HAS to pump up the guys that are producing. And don't think for a second that he has an ailment. Hendry can't make the 100 million dollar man seem like a FO mistake. He just shudda did it a month ago. (sit him) Stop it. You're going to make people think you actually believe this hogwash. Is it possible the cubs can go on a nice little winning streak here? Sure. Their remaining schedule is by no means impossible, but we're still EIGHT games back with only 24 left to play. Probably my favorite Cubs hat ever. When I first heard they were doing a throwback game last year I really hoped they would go with those...no such luck, though.

    This was the story a couple days ago, and she refuted it by saying she's allergic to alcohol and that it's publicly known. Ah. That's what I get for thinking ESPN has up to date news. And, she's allergic to alcohol? Interesting.

    Apparently (according to sports center this morning) the story is now that Tila was - according to merriman - too intoxicated and thus he tried to stop her from leaving the house. Which, really, isn't at all believable. I mean, it's not like she created her stage name directly referencing alcohol or anything.

    I would LOVE if the cubs pulled this out as an alternate option. Or do what the sox did a couple years ago and have them wear the throwbacks every sunday.

    ? Red and blue go great together. And the cubbie bear logo is amazing. Z always wears a blue pullover with the logo really similar to what IMB posted during pre-game warmups and it looks snazzy as hell. I don't know where he got it from because I've never seen anyone else in one, but I vote they become mandatory.

    Yeah, still no charges or physical evidence... color me super skeptical. Although, the thought of merriman jacking her in the face then doing the lights out dance is enough to make me LOL for a while.

    I hate that saying in regards to stuff like this. How about thinking about how YOU'D feel if you ever got there. It was a funny celebration. He wasn't taunting anyone, he wasn't talking trash, he didn't go way over the top. He was just celebrating with his teammates. Nothing wrong with that.

    Harden was the best pitcher in baseball after becoming a Cub. Dempster had a much better year than Lilly. Zambrano had a similar year but gained a lot of value by being a competent hitter. It woulda been pretty damn crazy to have Lilly pitch in front of any of them. What he said. I must have missed the part where I said he should have started in front of those 3. Oh, so you were just making a pissy comment for the sake of being pessimistic. Gotcha.
