    Well, at this point that news doesnt seem too damaging. I'd like to see a report from a creadable journalist (MILES) about this, however. But the fact still remains, if he does turn out to be injured, and we start this year wood and priorless again, i will most likely explode. or something.

    Just so you know thats organization-speak for "Well, he's injured. But we are hoping like hell and praying to God, allah, buddah, and jahova that he's ok. Cause if he's not we're in a heap of trouble." Or maybe thats just the cubs.

    So, Wanna hear a story? Today I woke up, came downstairs, and went outside to get my newspaper. I flip through the front page real quick then grab the sports section. Very top of the page I see the headline "Knee Surgury In The Cards For Wood." I sent the newspaper flying across the room with a loud "FIDDLESTICKS" (or something). Then I went over, picked it up, and read the article. I hate my life.

    Maybe. But when you are trading your third best hitter for an average-at-best back up player, then you need to stop and figure out wth you are doing. And furthermore, Walker isnt a bad defensive second baseman. I dont know where that idea comes from. He's not a gold glover, but he's very solid, and makes few mistakes. And since when has he had trouble bunting? Simply put Walker was the 3rd best hitter on this team last year, and we are planning on trading him for tony graffinino? Thats a terrible idea.

    WHY in the blue hell do we want to trade walker? All these horror stories of his defense are false, or at least I have seen very few examples of it. And the man had a .799 OPS last year. (a.k.a our third best hitter). Yes, Lets trade him! OOOH OH, And even better, lets get a really bad player in return!
