Yeah, getting mad at someone for not having a solid grip of english is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. By most accounts I've heard, english is one of the most complicated languages on the planet to learn. Having to do in no small part with the fact that in the english language there are so many "rules" that only apply part of the time. Besides, not everyone has the ability to just up and drop a thick accent. Case in point: My best friend growing up's father was from Puerto Rico. He's been here for probably 25 or 30 years now and his english still sounds like Ozzie's. And it has nothing to do with him not being an intelligent man, apparently that's just a hard accent for him to drop. Besides, there's a good chance people see that as part of their culture/heritage/whatever you want to call it. There are plenty of reasons to hate on Ozzie - God knows he gives you plenty of material - but knocking him for his choppy english is absolutely ridiculous. /mini-rant.
