  3. he noticed bad baserunning? what a key managerial eye. wait, you noticed it, too? forget brenly, sign up this diamondmind guy. you're a web bot aren't you? No, web bots provide more substance to their respective forum. OOhhh burrrnnnn
  4. He habitually hit the backstop and the net behind home plate on throws home. Huh, my brain must be trying to block those memories out.
  5. so wait, now it's good to be aggressive? That's all Lou was doing with bradley? Now what would have happened if fuld ran and was thrown out?
  6. This seems to be a common trend that we've had problems with for many years. Remember how much fun it was to watch Moises Alou on the basepaths? /twitch *Airmails cutoff man, catcher, pitcher backing up catcher, first ten rows of the stands* Alou's arm was NOT that good. I thought I remember him being in the territory of Juan Pierre noodle-itude. AND YAY FOR HITS
  7. FULD WALKS. HALL OF FAME. but yeah, this is cool.
  8. To be fair though, Bradley was probably just going on contact for the purposes of trying to jumpstart the offense. That was just about the worst spot for the ball to be hit (aside from back to the pitcher) for that type of a play. Turned out terrible, but I'm not going to blow a gasket over it. Eh, with Quade talking to Fuku after the inning, I think Bradley going on contract with a designed play. Right, that's what I mean. Lou was trying to jumpstart the offense, thus he sent bradley on contact.

  11. [expletive] MLB. It said it was giving a live look in to the cubs/pirates game and now it's just showing me the goddamned commercial.
  12. Yay, Kosuke remembered he was allowed to hit the baseball
  13. Virgil having lots of problems finding the zone this inning.
  14. ? CSN is running a promo with Buehrle saying his dad drops "Hawkisms" in all the time. When they are deer hunting, his dad will shoot a dear and say, "he gone." oh sweet god.
  15. Sorry if there is already a thread on this, but I didn't see one. The Florida Marlins got the ok and began work on their new stadium this morning. It's set to open in 2012. When they move to their new park they will take on the name of the "Miami Marlins." All this via Pat Hughes on the gamecast today.
  16. Brewers lose.
