  3. So who do people want? I havent followed this draft closely AT ALL.
  4. nevin at 1b, walker at 2b, womack in left is my guess. My guess is Walker at 1B, Womack at 2B, and Nevin as a pinch hitter/double switch for Jacque Jones. Womack will start "Because he knows the park dude" that would be tuff since it is brand new this season :D OK, OK.. Dude, he knows the city. He knows how to play in St. Louis, you know what I mean? You gotta know how to work in St. Louis before you know how to play in St. Louis. 'Mac has been there, done that, dude. Nah.....Dusty's response would be, Dude its still called Busch Stadium.
  5. Dusty: Dude....Responsawhat?
  6. Ponson's periphials are going to catch-up to him sooner or later. Lets make it sooner. Last time he was lucky he didnt get completely shelled, this time it wont be so lucky for him.
  7. Im not opposed to that either. Buy, Earn, Steal. Whatever.
  8. Everything he hit when yard. On like the 4th or 5th swing he has one he takes yard on a pitch above the letters, its hilarious. If this dude has plate discipline like some of you are saying id be interested in this guy.
  9. Yeah not good. Wasnt wood around this too when he rehabed? Wood today was throwing hard, maybe Prior can follow his path of success.
  10. Prior is wearing jersey #39 because the #22 they gave him was too small. Good golly
  11. Yes. Hes not going to bunt his way out of this.
  12. I've got the starters at 5.54, bullpen at 4.05, and 4.96 overall. I only have that split for the CUBS. No way to compare it to the rest of the league. I found the info on ESPN. They have drop down window that you can sort by starters and relievers. The Cubs are indeed last in SP with an ERA of 5.54. Florida is 2nd worst with 5.14. The Cubs are 7th in bullpen ERA in the NL. Its pathetic.
  13. Barry Bonds, Matt Williams, Jeff Kent. Jason Schmidt. Robb Nen. Dusty Manager of the Year: 93/97/00 Nen was around for 2000. Schmidt for none. 1993 and 1997 the Giants were coming off a worst to first finish. Always gets the voters attention. 2000 they won 97 games and had a pretty good team. 1997 was a good year for him. They gave up more runs than they scored and won 90 games. Also if we are going to name drop.....93 and 97 the closer was Rod Beck
  14. I see Hill still sucks even though its AAA. Buh-Bye.
  15. Oh my thats some major suckage. Is it really that bad? Uh. So if derrek lee was in the lineup that would make them the 15th best team in baseball offensively? And that would be average. No way jose. This team is sucking regardless of DLee.
  16. Joel Zumaya is flat out nasty. Not even 22 yet.
