    Is the Southern League a better pitcher's league than the FSL? I always thought nothing came close to the FSL in terms of favoring pitchers.

    Certainly not Tennessee. I'd guess Daytona with a better chance at Kane County than Tennessee. I was thinking his age would be a factor. I can't see him at Kane County at 23, unless they just want to keep a closer eye on him for some reason.

    Who is this Cub insider? Mooney? Anyway, like others have said, 2016 would be late. 2014 would be crazy quick. I don't think opening day 3B or RF in 2016 would be late at all, considering best case scenario is the middle of 2015. Unless they think he's capable of starting next year in Tenn, which would shock me.

    Had to happen sooner or later. His peripherals have been good all year.

    2016 would be a bit late, but 2014 is super optimistic. Not impossible, but it would require him absolutely nuts mashing every level. So, 2015 is what you're saying? :-) Sometime in June 2015 would be the absolute best case scenario. Next year rake in Daytona in the first half and Tenn in the 2nd half, rake in Iowa the first part of 2015.
