    I assume he means a promotion of someone at AA to AAA that would then open up an obvious spot for Baez earlier than expected. The spot for Baez has already been opened with the selling of Torreyes. And I'm not sure if it's completely nuts just to promote him so he doesn't get half his ABs taken away due to rainouts.

    I read recently in a column by Randy Galloway that a lot of scouts no longer think Profar is a superstar and that his upside is that of a good player rather than an elite one.
