    I'm pretty sure it actually bumped the Brewers up to the best team in MLB. That's how these things work. The Brewers are the best team by default for continuing to trick Theo into acquiring valuable players

    Guessing it is all arranged to potentially fit Harper. The Cubs have Zobrist (12.5m) and Cishek (6.5m) on the books in 2019 but do not in 2020.

    Sounds like Theo made one last call to Jake’s contingent before finalizing the Yu deal. Reportedly he asked if Jake would be willing to accept a similar deal and was told no.

    Well he took OSU to the tourney in 9 of his 13 seasons, won 5 regular season Big 10 titles, 4 BTT titles and went to 2 Final 4s. So probably not bad but not sure what he did to cause the program to tank his last few years.

    Does PECOTA usually project teams to have 99+ wins? I feel like most of these projections rarely have teams pegged for more than 94-95 wins.

    Ok I’m officially throwing in the towel on the Blackhawks making the playoffs. They aren’t good but at least have a couple of decent young pieces.
