I think Scherzer will be on point but I hope I'm wrong. It's his bullpen day right? Should be able to go balls to the wall for 40 pitches or so. Which based on last game is like 3 innings worth -
I really don't understand Maddon. He pulls a cruising Hendricks early with a 4 run lead in game 7 last year. Also last year he was super sensitive to pulling guys when the order turned around for the second time. Now he leaves them in when he's getting hit fairly hard

Exactly. Lefty/Lefty matchup against a pitcher whose been all over the place and you are up 1-0 in the count. Everyone wants to be the hero but know your role. At least take until strike 1
