  1. [expletive] I had so many good gifs prepared for this Breaking bad run. Honestly that is the worst thing about today by far.
  2. Well the good news is that we are averaging 4.67 runs per game over our last 3 games and have only been outscored by 1 run
  3. I guess I didn’t expect Yu to fail to make it through 5 innings in 2 of his first 3 starts
  4. KBs response to Seal Boy starting at 3B today http://www.breakingbadgifs.com/gifs/gifs/walter-white/breaking-bad-gif-walter-white-151928.gif
  5. https://www.mlb.com/cubs/ballpark/information/security Luggage/Bag/Stroller Check Oversized luggage and strollers can be claim checked at the Bike Valet located in the alley just east of the main entrance for the CTA Red Line stop on Addison Street, easily accessible from Sheffield Avenue. Thanks guys. I have no idea if my backpack is 16x16x8. I guess I could check it, but I'm not sure if I feel comfortable leaving my bag with some workers under the El. I don't even think its covered and its supposed to rain. I think I'll just leave my bag at work and make an extra stop to grab it before taking the train home.
  6. Sorry to break up the Breaking Bad fun, as I know there will be plenty more, but quick question. I have tickets today and was planning on coming from work and then taking Metra home afterwards without stopping back at work. I need to bring my laptop and other stuff home for the weekend...what exactly is Wrigley's policy on backpacks?
  7. It’s frustrating but who cares. We all know this is ending up in the low/mid 90s win territory which is enough for the division. I agree with your outcome but i want to dominate, it’s better that way
  8. You know you are good when this is the response to winning a series against us [tweet] [/tweet]
  9. I could be wrong but I don't think we've done a proper Breaking Bad universe gif themed game thread....just saying.
  10. There are no other good internet providers in my area for some reason. AT&T is but all reviews say it sucks in my town. I could just stick with them for internet, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. are you still in the city? RCN has given me great (fast AF) service for 3-4 years now. No, Western Burbs now. Yeah I used to have RCN before I moved, they were pretty solid.
  11. What kind of Stockholm Syndrome madness is this? There are a million reasons you should already have told Comcast to pound sand There are no other good internet providers in my area for some reason. AT&T is but all reviews say it sucks in my town. I could just stick with them for internet, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
  12. We look like poop out there. Snap out of it boys and start dominating. I am about to put an overreactionary "Who is worse Hickey or Chili" poll out there even though clearly they need more time to make an impact on the team.
  13. WTF, it sounds like Comcast is dropping the Big Ten Network next month https://www.hammerandrails.com/2018/4/12/17230896/comcast-to-drop-big-ten-network-in-may This is likely what will finally break my grip on Comcast.
  14. Yuck I don't like that decision at all. They are still way under the cap and its 2 years max.
  15. OK, I'm seeking some kind of middle ground with this...The Cubs' numbers in these situations have been rank last year and, I think, in 2015, too. 2016 was better, but, I believe, not too far off (if at all) of middle of the pack. Obviously this shows that it's not some crippling problem that's going to prevent the team from being good or even winning the WS...but is it too crazy to want/hope/expect a team this good to be at least somewhat better at would should be more often (but obviously not all the time) essentially a gimme situation for a team this good? Like, I'm not saying the improvement in 2016 was THE reason they were that great that year, but it sure as horsefeathers helped, right? I'm not expecting them to get in every runner they get to 2B or 3B with 1 or 0 outs, but why have they been seemingly SO bad at it for such long stretches? I'd be overjoyed with just league average at this point. There might be some approach issues of course which was stated as the reason we hired Chili Davis. I wouldn't have expected him to fix it overnight, so I'm willing to give him plenty of time. That said, they were bad last year right? and ended up just 2 runs behind Colorado for most runs scored in the NL. As long as they are towards the top of the league in chances in those situations we will be fine for the season as a whole. It's the playoffs where I worry with smaller sample sizes, better pitching etc. Hopefully Chili is able to make some progress by then.
