Yeah...well...my small sample size is clearly far more meaningful than your small sample size! I dunno...he's not good...I just feel like he has a chance to do positive things on a semi-regular basis this year, where I didn't feel like that in previous years. The only thing hes really done positive over the last 30 games is timely clutch hits, which is great he seems to be better at that than others even though its really hard to prove clutch is a thing. But since you said positive on a semi-regular basis this year, here is his OPS by month: April - .734 May - .705 June - .873 July - .660 August - .644 If you simply remove the month of June, he has a .680 OPS the rest of the season, which is somewhere in between his 2016 and 2017 numbers. June is awesome and it shows that there is still potentially a better hitter in there, but he really hasn't done much of anything outside of that month.
