    10. It’s the playoffs and a monumental upset would be fun. I understand your points and I am typically all about long term outlook but playoffs are so rare for the Bears, I’m not going to root against them or be apathetic about it

    Michigan's schedule broke so favorably. Illinois and Iowa once apiece and both in Ann Arbor, and don't have to go to Rutgers, which is funny to write. ETA: Though because of the depth, barttorvik still has you with the 2nd hardest schedule the rest of the way. Another edit: I guess Illinois only plays Iowa once (in Champaign) too. Yeah and we haven't played a team ranked better than 36 so far so we had a really soft cushion to start the year before it gets tougher. I was expecting a borderline tourney season and maybe it would have trended that way with a tougher start to the schedule, but we've been able to gain confidence, figure out rotations and determine Dickinson is a star. I'm sure we'll get batted around in February though.

    The Big Ten is so fun every night. I'm looking forward to the gauntlet Michigan will eventually have but certainly enjoying the currently destruction of the middle tier teams as well. It's hard to tell how good they are though until they start playing the trio of Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois

    Definitely trolling, after what he’s said about Pace not even taking to him before the draft I doubt he’d try to force a trade here specifically. I’m sure he’d play here if the bears did trade for him though

    Rodgers is putting up an MVP season at age 37. I'm sure they wouldn't throw away a young elite QB to embark on a multi-year rebuild. While an elite QB cannot by themselves make a bad team good, they can vastly accelerate the timeline of a rebuild.

    Mets new owner is trying hard to endear himself to the fanbase. If they don't have an extension lined up right away this could be a terrible decision.

    To be fair, like 14 of those 17 from Foles were against Atlanta in the 2nd half. and it wasnt a Hail Mary. but, yea For reference, this was the play: I love how deep Trubisky completions are so rare the only logical explanation is that it must have been a hail mary.

    This Bulls team has an 04-05 vibe. No true star, a lot of young lottery picks, well coached, plucky underdog that rises about its weight to compete against seemingly better teams. They also seem to enjoy playing together.
